When It Started

CHAPTER 23

CHANDLER'S POV

I woke up with Alex knocking on the door. "Chandler wake up run remember?" She said through the door. "Ok ok." I said in a morning husky voice. I got up from my bed and ran my hand through my hair. I went in the washroom and took a shower. I wore a Black shirt cameo pants and my normal run shoes. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. I saw Alex sitting on the couch with Sam Dane Luke and Michael. I saw Luke's hand clasped with Dane. "When?" I asked pointing to Dane and Luke. "No no we're not together." Dane said and Luke pouted playfully. "He's just courting me." Dane said. "Please be mine." Luke said. "I'll answer that question after our run." Dane said and she ran outside. I laughed and we followed her. I saw Katie walking to the building area with Devain weird name I know. I was so nervous for later. I was going to ask her the question. I was going to ask her if she wanted to be mine. I kept on staring at her until I heard a honk.

"Move it lover boy!" Michael screamed. I laughed and walked over to the car and sat on the passenger seat with Alex. We went to and abandoned shop. I was going around when I heard something fall on the floor inside the Closet. I grabbed my knife and I slowly started to walk towards it and I quickly opened the door. "Please don't hurt me!" I heard someone say. I looked at the boy and saw a boy with Brown hair and Eyes and light skin. "Shawn Mendes?" I asked him. "Carl Grimes... I mean Chandler Riggs?" He asked. "You're alive?" We said in union. "Do you have a place to stay?" I asked him and he shook his head. "How are you alive?" I asked him. "A girl saved me her name si Patricia Pia for short." Shawn said. I suddenly heard Alex calling us. "Anyone found Shawn Mendes?" She asked. "I found him!" I told her. "Shawn and Pia are coming with us!" She screamed.

Suddenly we heard moaning. "Forgot to tell you we haven't cleared this place yet." Shawn said. "Shit!" Alex screamed. "Guys run to the exit!" Alex screamed. We started running to the exit with Shawn behind me. We were all at the exit except for Alex and Pia. "Pia!" Shawn screamed. "We're almost there!" I heard a female voice say guessing it was Pia. I saw them coming in a walker grabbed Alex from her shoulder but she managed to stab it. "That was close." Alex said panting when she got outside with Pia.

Pia had long dark hair light skin dark brown eyes. "Guys Shawn and Pia. Pia Shawn meet Luke Michael Sam Dane Chandler and Me Alex." She said pointing to each of us. We got in the car and started to drive home. "I can't wait for later." Alex said. shit! I forgot about that. I need to go to Katie more than Alex right now. I need to ask her something important.
Sorry to say this I have to lie to Alex and Katie's more important than her right now. "Yeah me too." I told her and brought the things to the DZC while Alex took Shawn and Pia to the I room for Norman to interview and she will give them a tour after. I walked over to Michael. "Hey Michael I really need to go I have to do something with Katie." I told him. "I hope thats not what I think it is." He said. "Ew no no no no." I told him and he laughed . "I thought you were going to hang with Alex?" He asked me. "Katie's more important right now."

I told him he lost the smile on his face and he looked disappointed. "Ok fine." He said and he walked away and I ran home to take a shower snd change clothes.

I rushed to Katie's house quickly and I grabbed the picnic basket on my
way out. She opened the door. She was wearing a blouse and jeans and rubber shoes. Her black hair was in a ponytail. "picnic?" I asked her and she giggled and nodded. I grabbed her hand and led her to the park. I set up the picnic and we eat and chat the whole time. I wanted to ask her the question already. Its been 5 hours since we started and I think its time. We were strolling around the park and I stopped her. "Katie I need to ask you something." I told her as I grabbed her hand. "What is it?" She said. "Look Katie I like you." I told her. "I... I like you too Chandler ever since I got here." She said. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her. "Yeah sure." She said. I was so happy that I carried her and twirled her around and kissed her and she kissed me back. On the corner of my eye I saw Alex running away. I ignored it this was more important to me right now.

ALEX'S POV

I was looking for Chandler but I could not find him anywhere. I heard people talking in the park and I went there and I saw Chandler holding Katie's hand. My whole world was falling apart again. He promised me something and he broke it he knew I reminded him yet he forgets about me. And things just have to get worse. He picks her up and twirls her around and kisses her at this point I could not take it anymore I ran away with tears blurring my eyes as I ran to my room and locked the door. I hate my life. I went to the washroom and grabbed a blade. I never done this before but Dane say it helps but try not to do it but at this point I can't take it anymore. I cut my self five times. Blood trickled on the floor until someone knocked on the door. Shit. I said and I grabbed a bandage and I wrapped it around my arm. I grabbed my black sweater and wore it. I saw Dane do this before . I opened the door and saw everyone in out group except for Chandler. Probably making out with Katie. I thought. I allowed them to enter.

There was Sam Dane Luke Michael Ashton Calum Pia Shawn Katlyn and Austin. My room was pretty big. "What happened?" Ashton asked me. "Nothing my whole world just crashed." I told them. "Go on." Calum said. I told them the whole story from the asking to hang out to the blurred tears back here. Suddenly Dane
grabs my wrist and I winced. "Alex... You didn't?" She asked I was quiet. She pulls up my sleeve which revealed a bloody bandage. Everyone gasped "I'm going to kill Chandler!" Sam screamed. "No. Don't." I told her. "Leave him be at least now I know he's happier without me." I told them. The frowned. "I think I need some time alone." I told them and they nodded and head out. I cried my self to sleep my face were filled with tear stains. I was already asleep when I heard someone knock im
the middle of the night.
