CHAPTER 38

ALEX'S POV

"Are you sure you don't want us to come with you?" Uncle N said. "Yes you and Andrew need to stay here just incase she comes back." I told him. "Let her Norman I'm sure she can handle her self." Andrew said.

"I know she can shes a Reedus I'm just worried about you Alex you're like a daughter to me." I told her. She smiled and hugged me tight. "I love you uncle N thanks for being my dad." She told me and I hugged her back. "I'm sure Brad will take care of me." She tells me.

"I really don't trust that Brad guy with you Alex I like it better when Chandler watches over you." Andrew said. "Same goes with me I trust you better with Chandler." I told her and she frowned. "Too bad I'm not in good terms with him." I told them.

"You two will make up trust me and I even feel that you two could e a you know." Andrew says as he wiggles his eyebrows. (A/N NOTHING DIRTY HERE) I blushed. "I doubt he hates me." I told him. "And I have a boyfriend." I reminded Andrew.

"I dont trust your 'boyfriend' " Uncle N said. "Well better go now Alex." Andrew said. "Bye Uncle bye Andrew!" I screamed as I ran off to our house to get my things but I first passed by Brad's place.

I knocked on his door but it was Josh opened the door. "Where's Brad?" I asked him. "He's at Bri's." He told me. "Wh-what why?" I asked him. "Idk he didn't tell me." Oh ok thanks then." I told him and I left.

I started walking to Brittany's house. I saw Brad come out of the house his hair a mess and he was fixing his belt and the worse part is I saw hickeys on his neck. Bri cam out of her house and have him a deep and lustful kiss and went back inside as Brad starts to walk home.

I hid behind a tree as tears filled my eyes. Why? I asked my self. I wiped the tears away and did my best to stand tall. I can't not know I still have a run to attend to but Im not taking Brad with me. Uncle N was right Brad was no good.

I started walking to the cars I was driving. the car with Psalm Luke Michael Jack Andie Zelya and Chandler. While Chesca had to stay here so Ashton volunteered to take care of her. Pia Shawn Austin Katelyn Calum Thomas Dylan and Angel are in the other car.

"Lets move." I told them as I started the car. Chandler sat beside me.
He kept glancing at me once in a while thats when I realized there was a tear on my cheek and my eyes were very teary I blinked them away and continued driving ignoring his glances.

"Here!" Psalm said. I stopped the car and we stopped an old shop colored black and white. "Ok lets split up in pairs." I told them and all of them rushed out with a partner so I was left with only... "So Chandler you're my partner?" I told him and he looked at me. "Isn't it obvious." He chuckles.

We stayed silent for a while with no awkward atmosphere at all. "Alex..." He said. "Hm.." I looked a him. "Why... Were you crying?" He asked me. "Oh it's nothing its just family problems."
I lied. And he nodded not wanting to make me cry but that wasn't the reason.

"Lets go?" I ask him. "Yeah." He answered m as I opened the door and jumped out of the car. I walks up to him fixing the strap of her backpack. We entered the building with our weapons up and ready. "Psalm?!" I shouted. "The building is cleared for this floor I think." She shouted back. "Ok! We'll check out the second floor!" I shouted.

I grabbed Chandler's hand and pulled him to the staircase. We climbed up stairs quietly. "Alex..." He whispered. "Yeah?" I whispered back. "Where's Brad by the way?" Hd asked. I kept
quiet for a while.

"Oh uh he's...just... had the flu today." I told him and pushed open the door for the second floor as I was greeted with a walker that Chandler quickly stabbed it before me. "Lets clear this area." I told him. We killed about 3 more walkers and opened a chest.

"Jackpot!" I screamed. It was filled with weapons. "Look here too." Chandler said as he opened a box filled with survival stuff like food water clothes and other things. "Lets take this to the car." I told him and he helped me lift the Chest and our fingers touched as I quickly adjusted it to avoid contact.

We took the rest of the boxes downstairs and put them inside the car and after we were finished we were getting ready to look for Dane in the forest.
