CHAPTER 22

ALEX'S POV (1 week later)

I was having my weekly sleepover with Chandler. We were watching titanic. "Alex I need to tell you something." He spoke up. My heart started to race. "I have to tell you too." I told him. "Who's going first?" I asked him. I was finally going to admit that I have a crush on him. "You." We said together. "No no you go first." I told him and smiled and he nodded. This is it I'm going to tell him how I feel and I hope he feels the same way also. "I like..." He paused. I feel like I was going to die of happiness on the spot. "Like who?" I asked him. "I like Katie." He said and I felt like my whole world was crashing down on me. I forced a smile. "Oh... Wow congrats I guess." I said with my most effort to be happy. "Thanks." He said guess he fell for it. "What were you going to tell me?" He asked. Oh no now what am I going to say. "Uhhh..." I said. "Well?" I need to think of a lie fast. "I...I... I'm going to try using a Cross bow or a Bow." I told him. "Thats... Great?" He said and I punched him playfully on the arm. "You're just jealous that I'm getting a new weapon." I told him and he rolled his eyes playfully. We teased each other for a while and we continued bonding but the feeling that he only sees me as a best friend hurts me a lot.

CHANDLER'S POV (1 Month later.)

Katie and me gotten pretty close already and I have a crush on her. "Hey." I looked behind and I saw Alex. I can say that I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't Katie but she's still my best friend. "Are you busy again tomorrow?" She asked and I shook my head saying no. "Why?" I asked her. "I just wanted to hang out you know." She told me. I haven't spending much time with Alex ever since Katie got here I spent most of my time with her instead of Alex for the past month. "Oh yeah we can." I told her and she smiled. "Ok I need to go bye!" Alex said as she rushed off. I started walking around the village until
I bumped into someone.

"Ow!" A female voice said well not any female voice it was Katie. I immediately felt heat rise up my face. "Chandler?" She asked. "Hey Katie sorry about that." I said while scratching the back of my neck. "Its fine." I told her. I really want her to be my girlfriend I had a brilliant idea. "Say Katie do you want to hang out tomorrow?" I asked her. "I would love that." She said. She started to walk away as I did a fist bump in the air. I was walking to the park when I saw Michael and Sam on the swing laughing while I saw Dane chasing Luke who was holding a Book? Wait oh its Dane's Diary. I walked over to Sam and Michael. "Whats with those two?" I asked them. "Luke stole Dane's Diary." Sam said. "Little does Luke know Dane had a slight crush on him." Michael said and I laughed. I saw Dane and Luke fall on the ground Luke on top of Dane and Dane turned red as a tomatoes but it looks like Dane got her diary back. I laughed and went back to the house. I had no shifts today tomorrow was a half day. I just watched some old movies and skipped dinner and went to bed.
