When It Started

CHAPTER 29

ALEX'S POV

I woke up when I heard knocking on the door. "Wake up sleepy head." I heard Katlyn say through the door. "Ok ok." I said. I got up from the bed and went to the bath room to take a shower. I wore a  navy blue shirt and my leather jacket incase of walkers. I wore ripped jeans but not to ripped and my combat boots. I tied my hair to a ponytail and made my way down.

"They will be here in 30 mins have breakfast first." Katlyn said. She was sitting beside Austin. I nodded and sat down to eat some cereal. "So how's it going with Chandler? " Austin asks. "Hm?" I said when I heard the name Chandler. "Are you going to forgive him?" Katlyn asked. "I still don't know. Not after what he did but theres a chance one day." I said. They nodded. I finished my cereal and placed it on the sink. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" I said and I opened it to see the others including Brad and Katie.

"Lets go?" I asked Katlyn and Austin inside the kitchen. "Yeah!" They said. I grabbed the first aid kit just incase. I walked outside to the car and started it. "Hey Brad!" I screamed and he looked at me. "Sit beside me?" I asked him and he nodded. I saw a hint of hurt in Chandlers eyes because he always sat beside me on runs. "Yeah!" Brad said and he climbed up the passengers seat. (A/N TALL CAR TALL CAR. AND IT CAN HOLD MORE PEOPLE NOW.) "Everybody here?" I asked and they answered. "Yes!" They said and I stepped on the gas and started to drive.
We were looking for a place with farming supplies at the moment.
Dane pointed a area with small shops. "Lool a gardening store!" Calum said. "Shhh not so loud." Ashton said. "Will the two of you please be quiet!" Sam whisper yelled and placed her hand on their mouths.

Calum looked at Ashton and Ashton looked at Calum with a mischievous look in their eyes. "Shit eww!" Sam whisper yelled again. "Did you just eww!" She said. "What happened?" Michael asked. "I think they licked Sam's Hand." Luke said. "You think?" Dane said. Chandler Katie Brad and Me were laughing our heads off as Sam wipes her hand on Calum and Ashton's faces. We got down and separated to get supplies but since I can't carry I'm just on guard duty with Brad. Sam and Michael was on food. Dane and Luke on clothes and Ashton and Calum on Meds (A/N SHE PUT ME ON MEDS) Austin and Katlyn were on weapons while Katie and Chandler are in the gardening store the store was big so we went with them to keep guard. Suddenly we heard Dane scream.

"Luke!" She screamed. "Don't scare me like that!" She screamed again in an annoyed tone and we heard Luke chuckle. I laughed on how cute those two were. I saw Katie and Chandler walking back towards us carrying bags filled with Pots Watering cans and Seeds and other gardening stuff and thangs. (A/N I JUST HAD TO 😂)

We placed the things in the car when we suddenly heard screaming.  This time it wasn't inside the building. We saw Katlyn and Austin running towards us carrying a bag of weapons. "H-herd." They said panting. I saw Dane struggling with a walker I ran to her and shot the walker on the head. "Run." I said and we started running towards the car. Suddenly I tripped on a root I accidentally placed all the force of my fall on my arm causing it to get sprained even more. And for bonus I twisted my ankle. I saw Chandler pulling Katie in the car he looked at me and looked at Katie but he pretended not to see me and followed Katie. Hurt?I don't care.

Suddenly I heard footsteps towards me as the herd got closer. "Leave me!" I screamed. " I am not leaving you!" I looked up and saw Brad he picked me up bridal style. I wrapped my arms on his neck as we ran towards the car. He placed me on the passenger seat and he rushed to the drivers seat. "What are you doing?" I asked with the herd getting closer. "Driving." Brad said everyone was in the car and I'm the only one who was mostly injured. Dane had a cut on her arm. Sam on her leg. The others has scratches and bruises as for Chandler and Katie they were clean. "Thanks for coming back I thought you would leave me there." I said to Brad. "Who could ever leave you?" Brad said. I looked at the mirror and saw Chandlers face filled with guilt. "Chandler." I mouthed. I ignored what he did cause if he did save me he might be just another person to save so I'm not really mad a him for it just hurt.

"Its getting dark." I told them. "How long were we in there?" Katlyn asked. "Hours." Michael replied. "We need to find shelter for the night." I told them. They all agreed. We were driving around the moon almost up. We came upon a small house. We entered it I raised my gun. Brads arms were wrapped around my waist to keep me balanced which made me red. Thank goodness its dark. Sam knocked down the door. We went inside. I signaled Brad to open the closest cause I heard something in there. He opened it and I felt cool metal against my fore head. "Who are you and what do you want?" I looked at him. He looked like Newt form TMR. "Thomas?" I asked. "I asked you who are you not who am I." He said glaring at me. "I'm Alex... Alexandria Reedus." I told him and he puts the gun down. "You know Uncle N found Ki hong a few weeks ago." I told him. "Uncle N?" He asked me. "Norman." Chandler said and I smiled at him and face Thomas again. "Are you alone?" I asked him. He shook his head. "No Dylan's here with me." He said and he signaled someone to come out it was Dylan. "How come all I'm finding are movie stars and celebrities?" I asked them.

"Well one. LA and stuff and idk. We found some normal survivors like Katie." Chandler said and Katie held his hand. I rolled my eyes secretly and continued to talk to Thomas. "Anymore?" I asked them. Thomas looked up the stairs. "Angel!" A girl around 15 came rushing down the stairs. She had brown curly locks light skin and brown eyes. She was wearing light washed jeans and a adidas shirt. "This is Angel my cousin. Her sister is upstairs sleeping her name is Jane." Thomas said. "Hi I'm Alex." I told her and she smiled. "This is Brad Sam Dane Luke Ashton Michael Calum Pia Shawn Katlyn Katie Austin and Chandler." I said. "Wow thats one big group." Dylan said. "There are more of us. Do you have a group?" Sam asked. They shook their heads. "Then you can join ours!" Dane said. "That would be great meanwhile we can stay here for the night." Thomas said. We closed the door and decided who will take shifts. In the end I had a shift with Chandler because Katie was to tired and Brad had to rest. We had the 3rd shift so I decided to sleep for a while.

~Few hours Later~

I felt someone tapping my arm. "Alex." Heard someone whisper. "Alex." I opened my eyes and saw a pair of blue orbs (A/N FIRK FRAK IM DYING HERE BLUE ORBS DAALDJDJAJDHHAA. OK SORRY BOUT THAT.)

"C-Chandler??" I asked when I saw the pair of blue eyes. "Its our shift already." He said. I sat up I saw Katlyn and Austin sleeping on the couch already. "Ok... Can you help me up?" I asked him and he held my waist helping me stand. "Thanks." I told him. "No problem." He said. He wrapped his arms around my waist to prevent me from falling I turned tad red as I made my way to the front porch. I sat on the stairs and Chandler sat beside me. Thank goodness it was still night time.

"Alex are you still mad at me?" He asks me and I just stared at him for a while keeping quiet I was looking at his eyes filled with sadness. "Alex?" He asked snapping me out of a trance. "Oh... I think I'm not mad anymore just you know hurt..." I said trailing off. I felt tears form I tried blinking them away but they started to fall slowly. I felt a thumb brush my cheek. "Alex... I'm sorry I made you like this." He said. I held his hand that was still on my face suddenly he looked at my wrist. Shit. I quickly pulled my wrist back down. He took both of my wrists gently but only one arm was filled with cuts the other was clean but sprained. "When?Why?" He asked and I looked at the ground. "For fucking sakes Alex when and why?" He said a littler louder but not to loud to wake anyone up. "Because I was hurt." I told him. "You're hurting yourself more." He tells me. "When?" He asked. "When you and Katie became official." I told him and guilt filled his eyes. "So this started when I asked her to be mine and the reason is I lied to you." He told me. "Yeah..." I said half lying.

"I'm really sorry." He said pulling me into a tight hug. I missed our hugs. I hugged him back. "Its ok." I told him. "So you forgive me?" He asks pulling away from the hug. "Maybe not yet lets say about 5% forgiven." I told him and he smiled. "Well then I'm making progress." He said smiling. I laughed and finished our shifts. The only people sleeping downstairs are with shifts which are
Katie and Austin
Calum and Ashton
Me and Chandler
Dylan and Thomas

The rest were upstairs. I laid down Chandler assisted me. And I felt him beside me until I fell into deep sleep.
