Wahey!!!! Johnny POV Comin' up! :)

Johnny
Should I tell her?
Sam made me promise.
She also said that telling her would put her in harms’ way...
But I don’t want to keep secrets from her.
I sat on the couch in the living room, twirling my phone in my hands as I had an internal argument. I didn’t want to lie to Lexi, and ruin my best relationship. But I didn’t want to betray Sam or do something that would get Lexi hurt.
Sue walked out into the hallway, and stalked towards me, glaring.
‘Johnny. Please! I’m begging you! Stop with the internal argument. Just tell Lexi in a way that she’ll piece it together herself. Then you won’t have told her! But please! Stop shouting your thoughts at me.’
I raised an eyebrow at her. ‘Sue, we both know that you choose whether or not to read minds. But thanks for the idea.’
We both froze as a door opened down the hall. Sam walked out, looking at her feet and running a hand through her hair, deep in thought. When she reached us, she looked up, surprised.
‘Oh! I... I didn’t think that you guys would still be up.’ she said, her eyes wide. I smiled a one-sided smile at her. Sue frowned at her, looking her over.
‘Shouldn’t you be asleep, resting up? Those were some nasty splinters.’
Sam rubbed the back of her neck nervously. I knew about her insomnia, but Sue didn’t.
‘Yeah... I don’t... can’t... yeah...’ she trailed off. Sue took a breath to ask about it, but I shook my head at her slightly, ‘shouting a thought’, as she put it, at her.
Don’t ask about it. I’ll explain another time, Sue.
‘Do you want some coffee?’ I offered, getting up. She smiled weakly at me.
‘That would be great.’ she said, running a hand through her hair.
I got up and walked into the kitchen, and she followed close behind. I turned on the coffee maker and turned back around to face her. She looked bad, worse than she had when I had found her. Whether or not it was because it was the middle of the night, I didn’t know, but either way, I didn’t like it.
‘Sam, I know that I don’t come across as the best listener, but I’m here if you want to talk about it.’ I told her gently. She looked up at me, and smiled weakly with bleary eyes. She sat down on one of the stools, and leaned against the island counter.
‘I... I just...’ she began, before sighing, putting her face in her hands, groaning. She sat up, flicking her hair back, off her face.
‘This’ll just be between us, right?’ she asked, her eyes big and wide. For the first time, I saw her as the young twenty-two year-old that she was. I nodded warily. She shouldn’t be so worn down at her age. She wasn’t much younger than me, but she’d been through more than I’ll probably go through in my whole life. She sighed again and leaned against the counter, propping her chin up on her hand, resting her elbow on the counter.
‘I know that he’s going to do something horrific. I know it. And I know that I’ve hurt the others by leaving... I just...’ she sighed and looked up at me.
