So, here we are, at the end of book 2, and, as you know, there will be a book 3.

I'm still working on the plan, but I've started writing chapter 1.

So, here's an excerpt;

Sam

‘Clarke, it’s looking almost clear on our end. Can you catch anything up there?’ Nat called to me through my earpiece.

I didn’t answer straight away, held in a death-glare match with the last of the RHOKA stooges who had tried to take the roof. He jumped at me with knives, and I quickly dodged, catching his arms in a lock. I fell to one knee, and rolled over, taking him by surprise, and throwing him over the edge. Just when I thought I was in the clear, I felt a tugging on my foot, and was pulled over the edge myself. A screech jumped from my lungs, as I scrambled, somehow grabbing hold of the ledge. I felt him swing the line, ready to kill himself, just to bring me down. I glanced down, only to look back up, feeling sick at seeing the three-hundred foot drop to the pavement below us.
