I remember the coolness of the metal table against my exposed back. Bright piercing lights, blinding my eyes leaving the only coherent sense available to me; hearing. The accents of the voices I'm hearing unnatural to me. I'm confused as to why I'm restrained so tightly, fear coursing through my body.

"Do you have the virus ready?"

"Yes doctor, we are ready to proceed with the male subject."

Virus? Male subject? I force my eyes to search the room still unable to see.

"Stop, please!" I hear the man beg and then I realize...

"Liam?!" I shout out.

I'm panicked now. Why is he begging them to stop? Where were we? What are they going to do to us?

"Ready, nurse?"

"Please, no!" Liam shouts in agony.

"Virus is live."

Instantly Liam's pained groans feel the room. I cry in fear for him and myself. I can hear Liam struggling, struggling to breath, struggling to survive.

"Hold him down!" I hear the doctor scream.

And then the air is still, I hear nothing. No sound, no struggle, no....nothing.

"Liam." I whisper to myself.

I pull at the restraints, praying one will come loose.

"It is complete." I hear the doctor say. "Congratulations everyone, shall we move on?"

I can sense the medical murderers coming towards me. I try with all my power to break loose of my straps but nothing I'm doing is even coming close.

They say nothing yet go about placing the I.V. in arm.

"What are you doing to us?!" I shout. "What did you do to Liam?!"

My breath is erratic, my thoughts and mind racing.

"Please." I cry.

"We are saving your life stupid girl." The nurse curses.

"Miranda, please." The doctor urges. "Is the virus ready?"

I hear nothing as tears pour from my eyes.

"Virus is live." Miranda speaks and instantly my body is aflame.

I scream out in pain, praying this kills me. I close my eyes, letting the inferno consume my body. A large explosion interrupts the process and flips the table I'm still attached too. I scream out feeling the I.V. ripped from my arm. My body runs through every sense, heightening them. My eyes see clearer, my hearing sharp and crisp, my sense of smell tells me fire is close, and my strength releases me from my restraints. I hit the floor, feeling the rigors of the virus through out my body. I'm quick to my feet, hiding amongst the rebel after hearing the loud chants of an ops squad. I look out amongst the smoke and to my surprise, I can see every soldier like a heat signature that is coming near me. I spot Liam's table and see that it is empty. My heart drops but I know I have no time to dwell as I search for an escape.
