I steer into my room, falling into my bed. Tonight was awesome and I can't stop smiling at the joy those four boys now have being reunited. The thought of them knowing I'm a hybrid has me a little scared but I feel confident they will keep that secret to themselves.

"Look at you, being civil and a miracle worker." Philip preaches, perched upon my sill.

"They are friends to me."

"I can see that." He says slinking to an empty chair in the corner of my room. "I have to go back to my village tomorrow. I need an update to give to my king. He will be much disappointed when he sees that you have not accompanied me. What shall I say?"

"Say that I felt my people here needed my protection and defense."

"Mhmm." He nods. "Maybe that will work." He sighs.

"I'm sorry but--"

He cuts me off. "I understand, little bird. Have no worry, I shall see you again."

And with no other word from his mouth, he descends from the window and escapes into the darkness.

I sigh deeply, alerted by the front door slamming loudly. I cautiously go to the hallway catching Liam in the fridge. He harshly breaks the lid of a bottle and guzzles the alcohol back.

"Hi." I say meekly.

"Hey." He says, not looking in my direction.

"Everything ok?" I ask.

"I'm fine."

I nod my head and step back into the hallway towards my room. I turn my back to Liam and swiftly close my door. No matter how many times I try to fix our relationship, it always ends up failing. I've come to the conclusion that some things are just never meant to be fixed and unfortunately we are one of them.

My door opens, presenting Liam sans bottle of beer. He walks in, closing the door behind him, before falling onto the bed next to me. He pulls me close, nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.

"Will you tell me now?" I softly speak.

"No." He grumbles, pressing his lips against my throat.

"Why?" I press.

I feel him shrug against me.

"Please?"

"No." He speaks again, accent beaming through.

"Pretty please."

His lips again press against my throat. "No." He moves them.

The contact of his lips is driving me absolutely mad. Liam progresses, deepen his kiss against my skin. I run my fingers through his hair, urging him on.

He growls springing from the bed. "Why do you always do this? You fuck with my head! I think you like torturing me!"

"What?" I spark. "You are the one that you're tortures me! Acting mysterious, never being home, getting drunk, bringing back that barista, filling my head with whatever you want!"

He laughs. "It's always poor you."

"Oh, fuck you Liam."

"Yeah, fuck me. You are good for that. Jesus, why do I even try?"

"Try what? Getting me into your bed? That's all YOU are good for."

He laughs again, rubbing his chin. "Yet you are so easily influenced by me."

"Get out!" I shout.

"My pleasure. And you know what, I won't be back."

"Good!" I roar.
