I toss and turn, finding it difficult to sleep. I contemplate going to Rabbit but I decide against it. I slip out of bed and head downstairs. One thing I've come to find in Arizona is that the days are hot but the nights are brisk. I step outside, taking deep breaths of the cold air. I sit down, enjoying the peace and quiet.

"You are not a very clever girl." A voice sounds, sending an icy chill down my spine. The minute I turn to defend myself, I feel a minor pinch in my side before things all fade to black.

RABBIT POV

Of course, my night is sleepless. If I could only feel her in my arms then would sleep take me. Amongst my restlessness, I finally managed to sleep. I awake to the voices of Grey and Liam conversing downstairs. I quickly get dressed and head downstairs. Grey and Liam both look at, expression full of concern.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Sam's gone." Grey pains.

"What?!" I snap my head up looking towards Liam. "You bastard! What the fuck did you do to her!"

"What in the bloody hell mate! I would never hurt her! You are going to have to stop believing I'm against you and start trusting me." He spits.

"Fuck you. For all we know you could be one of Trek's little puppets."

"Sam fucking shot me!" He roars.

"Enough!" Grey booms. "This is solving nothing! I think we all know where she is and standing here having a pissing match is doing nothing but wasting Sam's time. Now get your shit and get ready to move."

I storm back up to my room, rushing to put on my gear. Sam is so stupid. Why she believed that asshole would protect her is beyond me and now look at the mess she's gotten herself into.

I hurry back down meeting Grey in the kitchen of the house.

"Please don't make me worry about you two." He speaks. "Just let bygones be bygones."

"Fine." I zip.

We head out and meet up with Liam, Asher, and Luke.

"Do you know how to shoot a gun?" Liam asks the two.

"Yes." They both nod and accept the guns Liam hands them.

"Alright, Luke. You know the terrain. Liam, you know the way. We will follow your lead."

We follow Luke and asshole out of the compound leaving behind John, Allison, and the rest of the civilians. We walk the wooded terrains for hours before taking a north of Trek's walls.

"The fortress is heavily guarded. We'll need to take them out silently and quickly." Liam commands.

We pick the guards off one by one, hiding their deceased bodies. We enter the grounds met with the incredible stench of death and blood.

"There are holding cells deep within the walls of the castle but my suspicion is they probably have her in the medical wing." He speaks.

"Well, let's go there." I spit.

"Granted it looks like a castle on the outside but inside it has all the highest technologies. You'll need to grab some key cards from the deceased officers."

We gather the cards before heading in. Grey gives me look but I pay no mind. I have only one thing on it and that's to find Sam.

SAM POV

I wake up feeling the oddities of a familiar instance. A cold metal against my back, blinding white lights. Panic instantly sets as I try to pull away from my restraints.
