Chapter 16

I headed over to Nates, and when I got there, there was an unfamiliar car in the driveway. Well there's his cousin. I walk inside and everyone looked at me.
I sit by nate.
"This is my girlfriend, lilly. Lilly this is sky my cousin and her boyfriend rian.
"Nice to meet you, nate talks a lot about you" sky smiles.
"Nice to meet you too" I say. She had medium brown black hair and was tall just like nate.
We talked for a little while and me and sky were practically one, we were already best friends.
"We've known eachother for years and I've never met her?" I ask nate
"I mean you might have when we were younger but I have no idea" he says
"So I was thinking, you guys are official now let's celebrate! Go out get a few drinks?" Sky says
"Oh I'm only 20" I say
"Girl that's what fake ID's are for" she laughs.
Well okay...
"Um guys lilly doesn't really do that kind of stuff" nate says
"No it's fine, I gotta get out of my comfort zone sooner or later" I say
"Well great, I'll get the fake id and we will see you two tonight" she says.

"You don't have to go lills" nate says
"Nate I'm pretty sure the only reason I've never drank or anything is because cameron was against it" I say
"I know but this just... Isn't you" he says.
"There's always room for change right?" I say.
I changed into a short black dress.
"You look good lil mama" nate says (likeyesomglifegoals)
"Thanks" i laugh
I looked into the mirror, this isn't me, but I haven't been me in a long time...
"Ready?" He asks
"Let's do this" I say

So when they said 'lets go out to get drinks' I thought they meant just go to get some food and a drink, not a club.
Even though I must give sky credit for the amazing fake ID.
We went in and it was crowded by people drinking and dancing on eachother.
"You can do this" I whisper to myself.
We go up to the bar and sky ordered a drink for me.
"I've never drank before" I say to her
"Are you serious?!" She says.
"Yeah" I say
"Well tonight is going to be a hell of a lot of fun for you" she laugh handing me the drink. It was a cocktail which I've obviously never had.
I drank it all, and what ever else she put in front of me.
"Woah go easy this is your first time" sky laughs.
"I feel so free!" I yell jumping off of the stool I was sitting in and she laughs.
"Woah how much did you give her?" Nate asks
"A cocktail and a few shots" she laughs.
"You feel okay?" He asks me.
"I feel AH-MA-ZING" I say. "Let's dance!"
*nates pov*
I didn't wanna get drunk tonight, I just wanted to make sure I was well enough to take care of my girl.
She was definantly drunk. She was dancing like crazy and I just laughed at her.
He and sky were dancing and I snapchatted it.
A few minuets later I got a text from someone I haven't talked to in months.
Cameron: you let her drink?! You know she's only 20 right?
Nate: I'm pretty sure I know the age of my girlfriend.
Why was he texting me? He's the one who divorced her, why does he care?
"Babe I'm gunna puke" lilly complains. I knew she wouldn't puke though, she didn't drink enough.
"Let's get you home okay?" I say
"But the party just started" she whines.
"Let's go" I laugh and walk her out to the car, I buckle her in and drive her back to sams.
I helped her out of the car and knocked on the door since it was locked.
"Got you a drunk one" I laugh as sam opens the door.
"Wait she drank?" Sam asks being the over protective brother he is.
"Yes but I took care of her" I say
"Okay" he says
"Your dimple is so cute aw!" Lilly says poking my face.
"Cmon lills let's get you to bed" sam says
"Your cute too" she says to sam and I break out into an almost crying laugh as sam almost pukes.
"Yeah I know I'm cute come on" he laughs taking her.
"Night" I say and leave
*lillys pov*
I woke up and my head hurt pretty bad and I didn't feel good. I remembered the previous night.
Well some of it...
"Hey" sam says quietly handing me pills and a cup of water. I took them.
"How was last night?" He asks
"Honestly i feel like everything that's been put on me in the past few years just rolled off my shoulders. Like I was actually able to have a nice time" I say
"Well yeah you get knocked up for a few hours you gotta feel good" he laughs.
I sat up in my bed and went on my phone, sky tagged me in photos from last night.
Sky Maloley: loved hanging out with lilly last night, actually had some fun👏
It was a selfie we took and a picture she took of nate hugging me. I liked it and got a text.
Nate: I'm siiiick :(
L- aw:(
Nate: I didn't drink last night but I'm throwing up
L- do you need anything?
Nate: could you pick me up some medicine?
L- and a few snacks, and movies, I'll be by in a few hours💜
Nate: I love you😍
I locked my phone and woke up a bit before I got ready.
"Where you headin?" Sam asks
"Nates sick so I thought I'd bring him a few things" I say
I get into my bug and drive to the store.
I went in and grabbed the medicine he needed.
I was looking for his favorite snacks when I see nash at the end of the isle.
I missed nash like crazy, but would it be weird to him if we interacted?
Ugh I'm over thinking everything.
"Hey nash" I say as I got to him.
He spun around and looked at me.
"Hey" he smiles. I knew he missed me too.
"How've you been?" I ask
"Fine, you?" He asks.
"I mean I'm doing okay" I say
"Lilly please don't make this awkward, honestly I'm on your side, I understand why you needed a break. And cameron ever reacted about that. I miss you, I really do, but cameron is my best friend.." He says
"Thanks nash, for understanding. So how is he?" I ask
"He's a mess, regretting everything" nash somewhat laughs.
"Oh.." Was all I could say.
"So why are you here?" He asks
"Oh um nate is sick so yeah"
"You and nate?" He asks and I nod slowly.
"I'm happy for you, it's was nice to see you" he says hugging me longer than he normally did.
"I miss you" he says
"I miss you too"
