*a week later*
Cameron did exactly as he said he would. Me and Sam were on speaking terms again. We actually hung out the other day and had an old brother sister day.
It was two days until his birthday and tomorrow my mom and dad would be here. I was nervous of how they'd treat cameron, and I.
"I feel like I'm meeting your parents for the first time all over again" cam says stuffing his face with chips.
"Come on It can't be that bad"I say.
"Lilly I've eaten almost a whole party size bag of chips it's pretty bad" he says
"Don't worry" I say hugging him from behind. "Wether they approve of what we're doing or not it's happening. We're having a baby and that's that" I say.
"I guess you're right" he says turning around in the stool he was sitting on.
"I always am" I laugh.
"We gotta go get sam a present" cam reminds me.
"I honestly have no idea what to get him" I say.
"I do! An apple watch he's been talking about getting one but never did it" he says.
"Good idea!" I say. We go out to the car and drive to the mall.
We get there and go inside. We walk around a little before we go into the electronics store and buy sam an apple watch.
"now I gotta be sentimental" I say and cameron laughs.
"Of course you do you're lilly!" He says.
I bought one of those 'picture frames' that are electronic and decided to put a bunch of pictures of me and Sam on it.
"You're so cute" cameron says.
And as cocky as it sounds I agreed.
We got home and I got everything gift wrapped and ready for his birthday.

Today my parents were coming into town and I was a bit nervous. I felt bad for cam because he has to spend this time trying to prove himself to my parents instead of just having a nice time.
"Do I look okay?" He asks. He was wearing a black and white splotched shirt with black jeans. (The outfit he wore in the responding to hate comments video)
"You look great as always" I say
"Should I wear a button up?" He asks
"Cameron you don't need to dress up for them" I say.
"I know I know I'm just worried" he says
"about what?" I ask
"That they will convince you that you shouldn't be with me" he mumbles slightly.
"Cam that will never happen" I say.
"I hope not"
I finish getting ready and finally it was time to go to sams. Everyone was meeting there including nate. But we were fine now so it didn't bother me too much.
We got there and I took a deep breath.
"You ready?" I ask.
"I have to be" he says. We get out of the car and cameron grabs my hand before we reach the door. I open the door and walk in.
"Lilly!" My mother screeches and hugs me super tight which causes me to let Camerons hand go.
"Hi mom" I smile.
My dad hugs me but wasn't being very friendly.
"Nice to see you cameron" my mom says awkwardly to cam.
"You too" he gives my parents a big smile which melts my heart every time I see it.
"Hey lills" sam says walking in the room with nate by his side. I hug nate and he hugs back. It was a silent gesture but really connected us.
There was a knock on the door and in walks Gilinsky, sadie, and johnson.
"Hey guys!" I say hugging them all.
Then nash shows up and everyone was here.
My parents were happily talking to everyone except cameron. Like literally making it obvious too.
"So lilly if amelia is moving in where are you moving to?" My dad asks.
"Actually I moved back in with cameron a week ago" I say in which he responds with silence and a slight glare.
"well lovely!" My mom says over enthusiastically nudging my dad.
"Yeah it's Going to be cool raising my own family in the home I was raised in" I say.
"Yeah divorced parents having a baby right after they got back together is a family" my dad says sarcastically.
"Dad stop" I say getting mad.
"It's the truth" he says.
"It's not you don't know what our life is like you don't live here you don't see how cameron treats me or how he always can keep me from crying or how he makes me smile or how he talks to our child in my stomach or how he takes care of me. You have no idea what a blessing this boy is to me and you don't realize how lucky you are to be able to call him your son in law because he's the most amazing guy I've ever met and it'd be a shame if my dad wasn't in my life because of one stupid mistake" I say
My dad went silent.

The day was over and I wanted to talk to Lillys dad alone.
"could I talk to you alone sir?" I ask and he gives me a glance before nodding and we walk outside.
"Your daughter means the world to me. That girl is the reason I get up every morning she's the reason I am happy.
If you can't handle that and try to take her away I don't know what I'd do. Id do anything for her. Id rather die than ever hurt her again. I love her, sir. She's the only family I got." I say.
"She deserves a guy who isn't going to treat her like shit" he says
"I know I'll never be good enough for her, god no one could she's perfect. But no marriage is perfect. And I feel that I'm doing pretty good for growing up with parents that hated me and got divorced" I say. "I don't want lilly to have to go on through life like I do, with un supportive parents that hate us."
He was silent. As if he was contemplating his opinion on me.
I left him standing there and go back in.
"I love you" I say to lilly and kiss her forehead.
"I love you" she says.
I saw her mom out of the corner of my eye smiling at us. I knew she didn't hate me. It's obvious.
*lillys pov*
"I'll see you all tomorrow" sam says saying goodbye to everyone before we all leave.
Me and cameron walk to our car and before we can get in my dad stops us.
"Lilly you did a good job" he says to me.
"Thankyou dad" I say and hug him.
"I'll see you two tomorrow" he says walking away and we go back home
