Chapter 20

I don't exactly know what happened yesterday, but me and cameron are talking again I guess?
Now I had a hard time with what exactly was going on. Do I tell nate? Is it any of his buisness? Are me and cam friends again or?
I was hanging out with Gilinsky waiting for sadie to get home.
"Something bugging you" he says
"Yeah" I agree with him.
"Well?" He says turning do he's facing me.
"I went to see cameron yesterday" I say
"Otp!" Carson yells and I laugh.
"You spend too much time around uncle j" gilinsky says
"Well we kinda, made up I guess" I say
"Made up as in don't hate Eachother or made up as in Wanting to get back together?" He asks
"I was wondering the same thing" I say.
"I'm here!" Sadie says bursting through the door.
"Yay!" I say and she hugs me.
"I haven't seen you in like a week!" She says to me.
"I've been... Busy" I say thinking about the clubbing I've gotten addicted to.
"Sooo? How are things with nate?" She asks sitting down.
"Uhh kinda a bust" I say and she gives me a sad face. "But I started talking to cameron again" I say and her face lit up like I've never seen before.
"YES MY OTP IS BACK!" She yells and high fives carson.
"Woah slow down fangirl" I laugh. "We're not actually a thing" I say
She pulled out her phone and I knew there was no stopping it.
She put it on speaker
Cameron: hello?
His voice have me butterflies.
Sadie: hey cameron long time no see wanna come over and hang with me and g?
Cameron: wow I thought you hated me
He laughed.
Sadie: of course not come over!
Cameron: okay, I'll be over in an hour.
Sadie: perfect time for dinner! I'm sure carson will love to see you! She hasn't seen you in a while
Cameron: yeah see you then
She hangs up and gives me a devious smirk.
"Oh how I love your plans miss gilinsky" Jack says to her and I laugh.
"And I'm excited for you mrs dallas" sadie says and I roll my eyes.
"Me and cameron are divorced I'm not dallas" I say
"Well to me I will always know you as lillian dallas" she says
*camerons pov*
I was heading out the door when my phone buzzed.
Gilinsky: Lillys coming for dinner too 😏
I ran back inside and quickly changed into come thing else. Yes. I wanted to impress her. So I changed into a button up shirt and the jeans that were her favorite on me, I did my hair a little nicer and headed out.
I knocked on the door and sadie answered.
"Uncle cam!" I heard carson yell before jumping on me.
"Hey" I laugh hugging her and walking in and seeing the most beautiful face I've ever seen in my life.
"Hey" I smile at lillian
"Hi" she says shyly.
I felt speechless and couldn't look away, she had an affect on me that no one else could ever have.
After seconds of complete silence it was broken by carson
"Mommy is uncle cam and auntie Ellie having dinner with us?" Carson asks
"Yeah they are" sadie smiles.
"Yay!" Carson screeches climbing up in her chair.
Jack and sadie sat next to Eachother which left me and lills to sit by eachother.
We are dinner and most of the talking was done by carson.
We finished and carson was sent to bed with sadie to tuck her in.
We talked a bit about Gilinskys new hair gel that he so highly recommends.
"Their taking a while I better go check on them" he says leaving me and lills alone.
"So.. How's nash?" She asks and I laugh. "What?"
"Stop with the small talk lilly you're the only one making this awkward" I laugh again.
"I am not!" She defends herself.
"Are too!" I say and she laughs
"You sound like a 5 year old!"
"You know what you were getting yourself into when you started dating me" I say.
"Not really I just thought you were a hot model" she laughs.
"Still am babygirl" I say and lean in to kiss her.
"Are they gunna kiss?!" I slightly hear Sadies voice say followed by a Gilinsky shushing her.
Me and lilly slightly laugh and I back away, even if we didn't kiss that was still a moment. A moment where I could see that lilly didn't hate me for what I had done to her.
A few moments later sadie and Jack walk down pretending that they were having a conversation the whole time.
"Well it's late I should probably go" I say
"Yeah me too" lilly says. We say goodbye and walk out.
I walk with lilly to her car since it was down the street and it was dark out.
"Thanks" she smiles. I knew she appreciated it because I know her fear of the dark.
"No problem" I say
"Well, see you around" she says all awkwardly. Awkward lilly is funny. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Why are you always laughing at me?!" She says
"Cause you're cute" I say.
"I am pretty cute aren't i" she laughs.
"When can I see you?" I ask.
"What?" She slightly laughs confused.
"You wanna come over tomorrow evening?" I ask. I've always been pretty open to her, and I want to spend more time with her.
"Sure, I'll text you" she smiles and drives away
