The koi fish part 1

Once upon a time, there was a young prince, which lived in a beautiful mansion. The prince was always wearing dazzling male kimonos with the finest details. He was of a noble samurai family, which ruled over millions of people. The prince had a divine appearance and the brilliance of a miracle child. His swordsmanship surpassed that of most general even so he still had the curiosity and adventure of a child. It's said, that the seven lucky Gods blessed him, when he was born. His country was living in a time of peace and harmony.

One day the prince walked around in the garden of one of his many mansions across the country. His eyes fell on a damp filled with fish. One of the fish caught his attention as he looked down into the damp. The fish was a beautiful blue koi fish with Finns that looked like vails. His eyes were spellbound by the beautiful fish's way of dancing through the water. He sat down on the edge of the pond while admiring the wish.

"Your lordship guests have come to the mansion," a servant said behind him while making a deep bow. The prince turned towards the servant with a smile of a true leader. He rose from his seat and walked towards the servant.

"Of course, but can you tell me where that koi fish comes from" the prince said while placing a hand on the old servant's shoulder. The servant straightened his back but kept his eyes focused on the ground.

"An old lady came to the mansion a few days ago and gave the fish to one of the servant's in exchange for some bread, so we thought it would be a fine addition to your lordships garden," the servant said while bowing fastly. A soft smile came on the prince's lips as he said softly "you guys made a wonderful choice, I cannot express my full gratitude".

"Thanks your lordship," the servant said while bowing once again. The servant walked out of the garden afterwards while leaving the young prince alone in the garden. The prince left the garden and meet up with his guests that were coming from another part of the country.

He and his parents entertained the guests with strong sake and a large feast. Even though there were many things happening at the banquet, his mind could not forget the beautiful fish. When the guests had fallen asleep and his parents had gone to their room, he walked into the garden. He walked towards the pond and gazed down at the elegant fish.

The prince placed a hand into the water as he felt the scales against his fingertips. The fish floated around, near the surface and it looked like it was smiling. His eyes turned towards the sky covered in stars and a moon, which was shining brighter than ever. Suddenly a star fell across the sky. The prince closed his eyes and mumbled, "I wish that you were a human".

A sharp light came from the pond and made everything turn white for a moment. His eyes blinked wildly and in front of him as he saw a beautiful girl wearing a blue kimono. The kimono had white patterns that looked like cherry blossoms. Her hair was black and shined like the nightly sky. The fish was swimming around her feet. Her eyes were as blue as the clear pound.

"Who are you?" the prince said to the dazzling stranger that was standing in the pond. She gave him a soft innocent smile. The prince jumped into the pond and walked towards the girl. He bowed to her and said, "I am Lord Akihiko". The girl placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him a soft smile.

"May I have your name?" he mumbled with amazement while lifting his head. The girl did not answer him. She looked at him with a warm smile as he stood up straight. The sleeve of her kimono covered her mouth while sorrow filled her eyes.

"You can't talk, can you?" he muttered while looking down. In the distance, he could hear the sound of guards approaching. He turned around and saw a light coming from the corner of the mansion. His eyes landed on the girl again. He reached out his hand and whispered, "Come with me".

The girl took a hold of his hand and he pulled her closer. Water dripped down from the edge of her blue kimono as he hoisted her out of the pond. She stumbled over the rocks on the edge and fell into his chest. Her cheeks were crimson colored as she felt the prince's body underneath his ornate kimono. He grabbed onto her hand and it was as soft as a pillow.

The prince guided the girl towards the mansion as the guards came closer. He hid her behind his back while tiptoeing inside the mansion. The girl had one hand in the prince's palm while lifting her kimono with the other hand.
