The guards surrounded the oak tree and he could hear the sound of Camellia screaming as the prince tightened his metal like grip around her wrist.
"Let her go" the oak tree yelled while soldiers pointed swords towards his face. The prince gave him a devilish smile and said, "no that girl is to be my wife and you sir is under arrest for high treason and blasphemy". The oak tree took a steps forwards, but the guards pushed him back with the tip of their sword.
"Let me and Camellia go or else something terrible is going to happen" the oak tree said as a glow of rage came into his eyes, when he saw the bruises forming around her wrist.
"Like I would believe a peasant dress like something the cat dragged in" the prince said. A cold wind filled the air and clouds started forming in the sky as the prince had said that. The oak tree then said, "you should not have said that" with a voice of an angry god.
Suddenly water poured from the sky and the plants in the garden rose from the ground and join together forming an army of plant men. Sweat dripped down from the prince forehead as he spat out, "kill him now".
The guards attacked the oak tree, but his army simply threw them off into the sky. Before long all that was left was the prince, Camellia and the oak tree. The prince pushed Camellia towards the oak tree and ran off like a chicken.
The oak tree took Camellia into his embrace and whispered, "are you alright". Her dress had been soaked in the water and her hair had come loose. She squeezed him as tears dripped from her eyes.
"I am fine, but why did you go to this length to find me" she said, while he dried off the tears under her eyes. He looked down at her with a smile and said, "because I love you". Her pupils grew and her heart skipped a beat.
"you do", she mumbled while looking into his beautiful eyes. The oak tree nodded and asked, "do you love me too". A silence fell over them and as the last drop fell from the sky, she pressed her lips against his.
She smiled at him and said, "of course".
