The koi fish part 2

He walked down a simple corridor build up with a soft wooden floor while having the girl in his hand. The shoji screen were white and had a flower petals pattern made of gold. He opened one of the slide doors and walked into a spacious room.

In the corner of the room was a small table with a candle on it. A pile of documents was on the table while there was a brush and a bottle of ink next to the pile. Next to the table was a long katana and a short katana. There was a lamp made of paper and wood that was lighting up the room.

He released the girl's hand and she folded her hands in front of the light blue obi that held her kimono together. The prince walked over to small slide door in the room. She gazed around the room and walked towards a small window. He pressed the slide door to the side and inside laid a folded blue futon. The prince took out the futon and lifted it to the center of the room.

He folded out the futon on the floor. His eyes fell on the girl that was looking out the window. Her eyes gazed at the night sky and the cold night breeze made her hair dance. He walked over to her and could see the stars glitter in her eyes. He placed a hand on her shoulder and she turned towards him.

"You can sleep there" he said and pointed towards the futon. The girl shook her head and pointed towards him. He sighed and said "don't worry about me, I take the guest room next door". She made a soft smile while looking down on her hands. He moved his hand across her cheek while smiling at her.

"Good night" he said and walked towards the door. He opened the slide door and looked at her one last time. He then said, "If there is anything at all, I am next door". The girl made a light bow as he closed the slide door. He walked down the hall and entered the room next door. All the lights in the mansion were turned off except the guard's torchers.
