Tears streamed down her cheeks as blood dripped down from the edge of her lips.
"I am sorry I can't" she cried as she rushed through the crowd of people. People looked towards her dumbfounded as her heels clicked with the floor. She ran out of the Crystal ballroom and ran out into the castles garden. Her heart pounding wildly as she could hear the prince yelling her name in the distance.
She looked towards the balcony and made I contact with the prince. He raised out his hand and yell "princess wait", but she quickly ran into a labyrinth that was made from tall rosebushes. Tears stream down her cheeks as she rushed through the garden trying to find the exit.
Suddenly she fell towards the floor and the edge of her dress was covered in mud. She rushed unto her feet and kept running, but her feet started hurting. Fumbling with her hands, she tried to remove her shoes and threw them into the bushes.
Her heart was pounding as she reached the center of the labyrinth. Inside it was a large fountain and a smile formed on her face as she put her hand into the cold water. Something grabbed onto her and she quickly took a step back.
Suddenly she could see the mermaid sitting on the edge of the pound with a smile on its face. She quickly took the mermaid into her embrace. She wiped as the mermaid brushed her hair.
"I missed you so much, please let me come with you" the princess said while she could hear the prince yelling in the distance. The mermaid smiled down at her and said, "I am sorry, but you can't".
The princess looked up at her and pleaded "yes I can, you just have to take me with you". The mermaid smiled, but a suddenly blast filled the air as blood covered the princess dress. Her eyes grew as the mermaid splashed down into the pound with a large hole in its head.
She was forced backwards and when she looked upwards, she could see the prince standing with a gun in his hand, while tightening his embrace around her.
The princess scream and yelled to her lunges began to hurt. The prince pushed her down onto the fountain edge, while placing himself on top of her.
"Don't worry princess that monstrous thing is death now" he mumbled as a white rose fell from the garden bushes and down into the mud. Her eyes black out and what happen for the rest of the night was a blurry.
Next day she woke up in and unfamiliar bed completely naked with Bryan lying next to her.
