A/N So even with my deletion of at least one of my stories, I still haven't decided about Never Thought This Would Happen, this one still only has a few more chapters left. This chapter I had planned long before the events of this weekend. I am dedicating this to the people in the beautiful city of Paris. This chapter shows the happiness of what Paris brought Sam and Patrick. I really hope you all enjoy this. I have seen a decline in reads, but I know the dedicated readers are all enjoying this, and I have a new story planned in the Sam and Patrick cornicles, but it has nothing to do with this one or my other one. Once again thank you all for reading this. I have really enjoyed writing this. This was my first ever fanfic that I wrote and I am so proud of it. Also I am also so proud of the fighter in my fellow wattpad user and friend SeattleGracePrep as she battles cancer while going to college. Were coming around to the home stretch so without further ado here is chapter 44.
----------------------
It has been six weeks since our return from our amazing family vacation. Patrick and I have since cut down on our sex marathons, but we still have just the right amount of it. Our marriage is actually stronger then it ever has been because we realize that being honest with each other even if it means saying no and communicating to each other as much as we can, has really helped grow our marriage stronger.
Lily is still the my bright and shiny daughter that she has always been. I have started thinking about quitting my job and staying home full time as a mom. With us trying for a baby and wanting grow our family even more I just don't want to make it go by so quickly, and it is easier to travel with Patrick when I don't have to worry about taking time off. I have been thinking about being on call if needed so that I can still do what I love to do.
Today I am meeting Jess for lunch so that I can talk to her about this. Patrick and Lily are having a daddy and daughter day before he leaves again for Fuji.
"Hey sorry I am late." I say with a huge smile on my face.
"Hmm I have a feeling of why you were late, but I can see why."
"What do you mean?"
"Oh don't be like that. I have seen many pregnant women in my time and you defiantly are pregnant."
"What?!?!"
"Let me guess you didn't know."
"No I didn't."
"I just assumed that you two were celebrating that you were finally pregnant."
"No we were not, but we probably will be tonight. The weird thing is that I haven't been sick at all. Last time I was so miserable that I thought that I had the flu."
"Hmm well every pregnancy is different and maybe you are having a boy, but we wont be able to figure that out for a couple more months."
"Honestly as much as I love my daughter I would love to have a son. Patrick would just be totally ecstatic, but we both would be either way, but a little Patrick would be awesome."
"Oh no not another Mcdreamy. So what did you want to talk to me about then if it isn't the fact that you are pregnant?"
"Well I have been considering this for awhile and I think I want to do this. I want to become a full time mom and wife. I want to be able to see my kids grow up and watch my husband succeed in his career. Now I was thinking about filling in if needed if someone took leave, but this is something that I really think that I need to do."
"Honestly I am not surprised by this. I would want to be able to travel with my husband too if I was you and if I had kids I honestly would want to also step back too. I would love to have you fill in when I need you though."
