Part 45 The final chapter

A/N So this is the last chapter. This will have a huge time jump. Thank you all for reading my first story I have ever written. I truly enjoyed writing this. I have to say though that my favorite scene was the morning after they had sex for the first time. Every time I hear Chapel of Love I laugh. Lily's POV

Today is my parents 30th wedding anniversary. A lot has happened in the last 30 years. My parents had four more kids. My brother Liam Patrick is 27. My brother Christopher Michael is 24. My sister Charlotte JoElle is 21. My brother Oliver Galen is 9. Yes he was a surprise baby.

I'm currently engaged to Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Derek Hough. We have been dating for 3 years ever since I was his partner. I followed my dad into the acting world and I am truly enjoying it. Liam is currently in law school at Stanford. Christopher went and got his business degree from UCLA and is now currently at racing school to follow my dad into the racing world. Charlotte is currently working at a salon doing hair and makeup and all that stuff cosmetologist do in Los Angeles. She does my hair and makeup for pretty much everything that I need it for. Red carpets, movies, photo shoots, etc. Oliver well he is still in elementary school so he has a long way to go, but he is such a little athlete already.

Every year since I can remember my dad always plans an anniversary trip for just my mom and him. It let them get out of LA just the two of them. This year they decided to go to London and Italy where they got engaged and went for their honeymoon. However little do they know that all their kids plus my fiancé are all coming to London to surprise them. My dad's agent who is also my agent told me where they were going to dinner so I called a changed their reservation from 2 to 8.

We land in London at noon. The reservation isn't until 7. We head over to the hotel. Derek and I have our own room. Liam and Chris in another while Charlotte and Oliver are in another. Derek and I are staying longer for a little vacation of our own once the others go back home.

I can't wait to surprise my parents. They are my goal in life. They love each other no matter what life throws at them, but it almost became to much right after my mom got pregnant with Charlotte. I was almost 8, but I still remember the fighting. My dad was gone a lot. After he got fired from Grey's Anatomy he got an offer to be in Bridget Jones Baby. Usually my mom was ecstatic when my dad gets movie offers, but he failed to talk with her about it before he accepted it. The filming was in London and my mom was 5 months pregnant with three kids. There was even divorce rumors and mistresses. Because my mom's fingers swelled while she was pregnant she couldn't wear her rings, so that sparked even more rumors. Of course I didn't find out about most of this until I was older. My parents though worked through it and became better than ever. But four years later my mom suffered a miscarriage which brought her into major depression and my dad left the acting world to take care of all of us. This is when I found out about my twin sister. I understand why my parents kept this from me because I wasn't old enough to understand. My dad returned to the acting world seven years later staring as James Bond, yes they are still making new ones. My dad won a golden globe that year and I was Miss Golden Globe. That night was very special night for our family and that is when Oliver was created.

Derek's POV

A few months ago

I walk into the restaurant for lunch. I am meeting Lily's dad for lunch. I'm very nervous.

"Hey Patrick thanks for meeting me." I say shaking his hand.

"Of course. You mean so much to my baby girl and you are good for each other."

"Well this helps for what I wanted to talk to you about."

"Well if I think I know what you are hear to ask me my answer is yes. You are already like a son to me and you have been so supportive of Lily as she grows into a successful actress and there is no one else in the world I could see marrying my baby girl."

"Thank you. I promise to always be there for her no matter what life throws at us. Do you want to see the ring?"

"I would love to."

Sam's POV

Present day-London

"Hi reservation for Dempsey." Patrick says as we enter the restaurant.

"Of course the rat of your party is right this way." She says showing us to our table.

"Party?" I ask Patrick, but my question is answered when I see my five beautiful kids and my future son-in-law.

"Wow this is seriously the best surprise. Did you know about this?" I ask my husband.

"No, but I'm so glad they surprised us."

"To mom and dad 30 years and still deeply in love." Says Lily.
