When Dreams Become Reality

Part 36

A/N Ok before I start I would just like to tell everyone that I am really busy so I won't be able to update as often as I have. I'm a senior in high school and I have a job. I promise I will try to update more once I graduate in May. I do however have another idea for a story and I would like to do it, but that would mean I would hve three different stories to update so that would mean less updates over the next couple of months. The idea for it is another Sam and Patrick one only Patrick has a kid and Sam is his kid's teacher. Let me know your thoughts.

It has been two wonderful weeks since our babies have been born. Today was Patrick's first day back to film and it was already inching closer to midnight. I know people say to sleep when your baby, or in my cases babies, sleep, but I really wanted to see my husband. I then hear the front door open and I know my husband is now home. I hear him walk upstairs and down the hall to the girls' room.

"Hey Lilybug why are you all wide awake?" I hear Patrick coo over the baby monitor on my bedside table.

"Did you want to see daddy? Yeah. Well let's change your diaper and then you can go back to sleep."

After a few minutes of listening to Patrick talk softly to Lily I hear him start singing.

'Hush little baby don't say a word.
 Daddy's gonna buy you a mockingbird

And if that mockingbird won't sing,
 Daddy's gonna buy you a diamond ring

And if that diamond ring turns brass,
 Daddy's gonna buy you a looking glass

And if that looking glass gets broke,
 Daddy's gonna buy you a billy goat

And if that billy goat won't pull,
 Daddy's gonna buy you a cart and bull

And if that cart and bull fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town'

I start tearing up as I listen to him sing Lily to sleep. He is the perfect dad. He didn't want to leave them this morning, but we came a visited him at lunch time. The cast was super excited to see the girls and they all wanted to hold them.

For them only being two weeks old they are the most well behaved babies. They hardly wake us up in the middle of the night. I don't know how we got so blessed with these two perfect babies.

"Goodnight Lilybug daddy will see you when you wake up daddy loves you." I hear Patrick say as he puts Lily back into her crib.

"Hey Kaylee sorry that you didn't get to see daddy when he got home. Daddy promises to see you when you wake up. Daddy loves you."

I hear Patrick walk down the hall and then I see him come through the door.

"Hey you're still up?" He says spotting me watching TV on mute.

"Yeah I wanted to see my husband when he came home." I say as he walks over to the bed and sits next to me and kisses me.

"Well I'm so glad you are still up because I wanted to see my beautiful wife too. How were the girls tonight?"

"Amazing as always. I fed them both and rocked them to sleep. I didn't even know Lily woke up until I heard you say something. How did we get so blessed with two perfect adorable babies?"

"Honestly I don't know. I'm still trying to think about how I got so lucky finding the most perfect beautiful sexy wife."

"Well I'm sorry to tell you but you can't get into my pants for another four weeks at least, but I still can't believe that I found the most perfect handsome sexy husband."

"I guess our dreams have come true well I guess mine have and I'm going to assume yours too."

"They have." I wishper.

"I love you and thank you for giving me all of this."

"I love you too. I'm so glad that I moved here."

"Oh I don't have to be on set until the afternoon so we can have a family morning."

"That sounds wonderful. I'm gonna go check on the girls."

"Ok I'm going to get ready for bed."

I walk out of our bedroom and down the hall. Lily is still asleep in her crib and Kaylee is starting to wake up. I pick her up out of her crib and lay her down on the changing table. After changing her diaper I sit down in the rocking chair and feed her. She looks so peaceful in my arms. After she falls back asleep I see that Lily is waking up. I just feed her and she falls right back asleep. When I walk into our room after putting Lily back into her crib I see Patrick has since fallen asleep. I get into bed next to my husband and even in his deep sleep his arms come around me as I cuddle into his warmth and too fall asleep.

The next day I wake up to the wonderful sent of breakfast coming from downstairs. I get out of bed and down the hall to the girls' room but they are both not there. I walk downstairs to the kitchen and see my beautiful family. Patrick is standing at the stove cooking pancakes and he is talking to the girls as they are in their bouncy seats.

"You both are so lucky to have the mommy that you do. She is so beautiful and amazing. She says that she is the luvky one, but I think I am the lucky one. I never thought I would have a family. But that one day when I met your mom changed my life so much. And I look at you two and I can't believe how lucky I got to have three gorgeous girls in my life."

"Hey." I say softly making my presence known.

"There is your gorgeous mom." He says to the girls. "Morning." He says kissing me.

"Morning. You got up with the girls."

"Yeah I thought I would let you sleep."

"Thank you. Now where are my beautiful babies. Hi Lilybug." I say tickling Lily's tiny foot. She smiles at my in reply.

"Hey my Bella." I call Kaylee Bella because her middle name is Annabelle. Patrick wants us to have a connection with each other so he doesn't call her Bella, but we both call Lily Lilybug.

Last week at their doctor's appointment we learned that Kaylee is losing weight. We don't know why because she eats normally just like her sister. The doctor is running some tests to fin out what could be causing it, but so far we know nothing.

"Did the doctor call this morning?"

"No and I weighed her this morning and she is still loosing weight."

"I hope we figure this all out."

"We will."

I turn and look at Kaylee and notice her turn pale.

"KAYLEE?!?!" I scream.
