When Dreams Become Reality

Part 3

When I get home I'm in utter shock. I can't believe that I met Patrick Dempsey and he asked for my number! But after that long day of filming in exhausted. I sit down on the couch to watch tv when my phone goes off and it is Jess.

Me: Hey what's up!

Jess: Hey how did filming go?

Me: Amazing! It was so much fun, but you would never guess what happened.

Jess: What?!?!

Me: I met a Patrick Dempsey!!

Jess: Oh my god tell me what happened?

Me: Well I short of ran into him literally and he asked for my number.

Jess: Oh my god you are so lucky not only were you on a tv show you gave Patrick Dempsey your number. So has he called you yet?

Me: No he hasn't, but I just got home so we will see.

Jess: Well okay I will let you go and see you at work in the morning.

Me: Ok bye!

Jess: Bye!

After getting off the phone with Jess I decided to go for a jog along the beach. Ever since moving here it is one of my favorite things to do. I never was a runner before but running along the coast is amazing.

That night while relaxing on the couch while watching tv I get a text from an unknown number.

Unknown number: Hi beautiful! I couldn't stop thinking about you all day. Are you free for dinner Friday night?

Then I realize who it is, Patrick. I know I need to reply back but should I say that I am but I don't want to sound desperate. On the other hand if I said I wasn't it could seem that I'm not interested.

Me: Yeah I'm free but I have one condition. Can we not go somewhere public I really don't want to have pictures taken of us yet.

Patrick: Of course I totally agree with you I was actually thinking about dinner at my house actually because of the paparazzi and I didn't want you to be uncomfortable.

Me: Ok thanks for understanding.

Patrick: No problem so dinner at my house on Friday at lets say 7pm.

Me: Sounds perfect! I will see you Friday.

Patrick: Bye beautiful see you Friday!:)

It was now Friday I was so looking forward to tonight. We have been texting each other all week. Patrick is such a sweet guy. Every morning I would get good morning texts and every night good night texts.

I walk into work with a smile on my face because I know today is going to be a great day. All the sudden Jess comes running up to me.

"Guess who sent you flowers this morning?!?!"

I walk up to my office and see these gorgeous aqua roses. I can't believe it he got my favorite color of roses he is so sweet. I see a card and open it reading it aloud it says, "Can't wait for our date tonight! Patrick xx".

"You defiantly hit the jackpot girl!" says Jess.

"Tonight is our first date and we aren't even dating yet this could all be nothing after tonight, but honestly I can't wait he has been so sweet all week and I could get used to this."

"I think by the end of the day someone is going to have a boyfriend and I'm so happy for you. You need that special person in your life. I mean look at Zach and I don't you want that."

"I have dreamed of being married and having kids of course I want that and I want to find that person."

"Well just take tonight on faith and see what happens."

After a long days work I'm ready for an amazing evening with Patrick. At exactly 7 o'clock I arrive at his house. I knock on the door and when he answers my breath is taken away he is wearing dark washed jeans and a black t-shirt.

"Hey beautiful you look amazing!" he says with his blue eyes sparkling.

"So do you I have been waiting all week for this and thanks for the flowers I loved them!"

We walked into the kitchen a smell my favorite thing in the world pasta. I love Italian food always have always will.

"Mmm smells wonderful in here what are we having?" I ask.

"Chicken Parmesan my specialty." he replied.

Wow could he get any more perfect his specialty is Chicken Parmesan and I love Italian food.

After we eat we relax on the couch and to watch a movie.

"What do you want to watch?" he asked.

"Hmm I'm really not to picky when it comes to movies but I love a romantic comedy."

"Well I guess 'Just Go With It' it is." He replied laughing.

We sat on the couch cuddling watching the movie. I was so happy I could defiantly see myself having a future with him. We fit perfectly together like a puzzle peace from our hands intertwined together and our bodies pressed against one another.

When the movie ended we sat there in pure silence and happiness. I didn't want to leave I just wanted to stay in his arms forever.

"Sam?" Patrick says breaking the silence.

"Hmm."

"Can we make it official as boyfriend and girlfriend because tonight was so amazing and I want to spend more time with you."

"Yes I would defiantly love to be your girlfriend. I enjoyed tonight too and honestly I could stay in your arms forever."

He looks at me smiling from ear to ear and his eyes are sparkling he is so happy that I said yes I can tell. He then slowly leans forward and kisses me sparks fly as our lips meet. I have never felt this in my entire life I'm so happy to finally have this in my life.
