Chapter 26

Breakfast at a local donut shop left the gang in a happy mood when they drove back to Evanee's place. It was Sunday, meaning Gemma was at work and so was Drew, which left the rest of the day for the five teenagers to play games.

Usually, the original four would be playing GMOD or GTAV on PC, but since they didn't have their gaming equipment, they played different games. Instead of playing in the living room, they went to play in the 'arcade', another room in the house.

Fortunately, it had two large TVs and several consoles, so they were all able to play together. First, they played around on Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3, but that eventually got boring and Evanee mostly had competitive first-person shooting games.

So, Evan and Tyler, being the most 'badass' ones in the group, stopped playing and went to the pool table. Meanwhile, David, Evanee, and Jonathan put in a new game that was bound to result in a mess.

Just Dance 2015

"I'm officially dead inside," Jonathan exclaimed when David chose 'Let It Go' from Frozen. Evanee personally decided to sit this one out and watched her two friends dance horrifically to a Disney song.

A few more songs after that, rhe three of them were tired and Evan and Tyler's game was over.

They decided they'd go to the fair around six in the evening and it was only two in the afternoon. "How about we go old school?"

"Old school?" Evan asked.

"How about monopoly, jenga, and twister after we eat?"

"This is going to end horribly, but I'm in," Tyler said with a smile.

Hours later, Jonathan was in the corner glaring daggers at David who basically bankrupted him in Monopoly. It turned out that David was very good at Monopoly and knew when he was offered a good deal, so everyone had lost to him and he had thrown all his paper money in the air.

"Lets skip Jenga because I know you shitheads are probably going to find it boring," Evanee exclaimed, holding a box labeled Twister. "Two at a time."

"Evanee's my partner," Evan said immediately, not wanting her to be that close to anyone while playing.

"Getting a bit protective, Evan?" Tyler said with a smirk.

Evan rolled his eyes and flipped him off. "Go suck a dick."

"Okay, lets start!" Jonathan said happily, ignoring the playful fighting between his other two friends. "Davids my partner cause there is no way I'd risk that tower falling on me," he said, pointing to Tyler.

"Can't argue with that." Tyler sat near the mat with the spinner in his hand. He wasn't a huge fan of twister, so he figured he'd just use the spinner.

Jonathan and David went first. It went from David's left hand on a red circle to all of their limbs being stretched across the mat with David's head near Jonathan's ass.

David groaned. "Get your butt out of my face!"

"Get your face out of my butt and move your left hand on blue," the blue eyed boy retorted. David rolled his eyes and went to move his hand, only to lose balance and fall on top of Jonathan.

"Help me," Jonathan breathed out, slowly pushing David off him. "Lay off the potatoes, man. You're heavier than you look."

David huffes and laid on top of him again; this time, pinning him to the floor and ruffling up his hair

"We actually only have thirty minutes and it takes fifteen minutes to get there, so I'm going to change," Evanee told the four as she headed upstairs.

It took her around ten minutes to brush her hair, put it in a ponytail, change, and put on a bit if makeup. They were only going to the fair so Evanee just wore some jeans and a 'Fairy Tail' tee shirt with a plain black hoodie she stole from Evan. As for makeup, she never usually wore it so she only put on a bit of eyeliner and mascara.

"Isn't that my hoodie?" Evan asked with a smile, seeing Evanee walk down the stairs.

"I dunno," she lied, placing a short kiss to his cheek. "Now, lets get going."

After a talkative fifteen minute car ride, the five of them arrived at the fair. It had taken an extra five minutes to find a free parking space because none of them were willing to pay $10 for parking.

"Where do you guys want to go first?" Tyler asked.

"Lets go on the big circle thing!" Jonathan exclaimed.

Evan rolled his eyes. "You could be talking about the ferris wheel or the circular roller coaster."

Turns out that Jonathan had been taking about the roller coaster so the group decided to go on that one first. It was basically one giant loop that they'd ride a few times and after the first few loops, they'd stop at the top, hanging upside down.

The only person who had actually screamed was David when the ride had stopped with them hanging at the top. He certainly didn't expect that and screamed until Tyler lightly slapped him and told him that it was part of the ride.

"Well, that was fun."

"What? The ride or David's girly screams of terror," Evan asked.making everyone laugh. "What's next?"

"I heard they're selling octopus ball," Evanee remarked, four pairs of eyes landing on her. "Not testicles. Just balls of octopi."

"Well, that sounds really disgusting, so how about a game, loser eats octopus balls," Tyler suggested, a sly smile appearing on his face. "Who's in?"

Not wanting to back out, the rest of them agreed and had to come up with a game they could all play. Evan's idea on an eating contest had won them over. They each bought a large chili dog, which was the length of Evanee's forearm.

Before they began, a group of teenagers gathered around them which led to more and more people crowding around to see what they were looking at. Soon after, there was a large crowd of onlookers who saw the contest.

Tyler had scarfed his chili dog down with no problem and looked around in victory after finishing, only to find that the person next to him had miraculously finished first. Then, Evan finished, then David, and then Jonathan.

There was a chorus of cheers as the only girl stood up and jumped around. The rest of the group deadpanned seeing that Evanee, a girl almost half their size, had actually beat all of them.

The group decided that forcing Jonathan to eat octopus balls would be at the end of their little field trip. Instead, they rode a few more rides and spent a long time at the arcade, where Jonathan and Evanee basically owned everyone at Dance Dance Revolution. And for their last ride, Evanee paired up with Evan.

The two of them got onto the ferris wheel and groaned when finding out that their three friends had also gone into the seat behind them.

Evan put his arm around his girlfriend as they sat together, staring up at the dark sky.

"Hands to yourself, creep!" Jonathan called out, making the three snicker.

Ignoring their friends, Evanee had kissed Evan which was also cut short by the three dumbasses behind them.

"No PDA! This is a family friendly attraction!" David shouted.

And that was the majority of their ride. The couple failing to enjoy a semi- romantic ride because of their three friends who had more than enough things to say about everything they did, even when they had stopped at the top.

"Losers," Evan mumbled as they all met up after the ferris wheel. "I can't believe you guys did that the entire ride."

The three laughed. "You know you love us," David said. "Now, lets get to those octopus balls and go home."

Needless to say, the ride home was ended with screams, a nasty car, and a plastic bag full of vomit.
