As Evan's eyes slowly opened, he couldn't recognize where he was. The walls were white and a glass chandelier hung above him. He was warmer than usual and realized that the warmth was coming from a certain green eyed girl, who was currently sleeping against his chest.

"Hey ducky." Evan recieved no response, so he lightly shook Evangeline. "Ducky?"

Evanee slowly moved her head away from Evan and stretched, stopping to analyze her surroundings. She wasn't in her room, but she was in the living room. Then her eyes landed on her neighbor.

"What the hell," her surprise knocked her off the couch and down to the floor in a messy haired lump. "Ow."

Evan couldn't help but laugh at her. He remembered what had happened the night before. Wal-Mart, ice cream, aunt Gemma, and Captain America. The events made him smile as he helped Evanee off the carpet floor.

"What are you smiling about?" The teenage girl stared at him in curiosity. It was then that she remembered her previous night. She had very much enjoyed spending time with Evan, although he could be an asshole some times. "And why didn't Gemma wake us up?"

Her Aunt Gemma wasn't usually very strict, but the rules she established years ago were still intact. One of them stating that in any situation, there was to be no boys staying the night over. Even though Gemma wasn't home most times, Evanee had always obeyed the rules she was given but she knew that letting Evan sleep over was not her fault, but her aunt's.

Gemma then appeared from the kitchen door, ready to greet the two after hearing conversation. She was met with Evanee opening the living room curtains and Evan gathering up the mess from last night's movie session.

"Aren't you a gentleman?" Evanee's aunt smiled seeing Evan cleaning up after the two. "It's already eight, but if your parents are okay with it, are you able to stay for breakfast?"

Parents. Through their conversation, Evanee hadn't heard anything about Evan's father and she was naturally curious. Of course, she wouldn't ask fearing that it might offend him. She was also wondering why her aunt had taken such a liking to Evan. In Evanee's eyes, he wasn't anything special, but she never really thought anyone special. Unlike most people her age, she wasn't a huge fan of conversing with others so the thought of anyone liking someone much different from her in particular was a bit foreign.

"I only live with my mother and she's at a business trip in Virginia, so that'd be good. I usually only have toast in the morning anyways."

As Evan's sentence ended, Gemma's hand went over her heart. "Only toast? Oh you poor boy. Evanee set up the table. I'm making a special breakfast today so after you set it up, you can show Evan around the house for thirty minutes. And Evan if your mom is ever out of town, you're welcome to stay here. I come home around ten at night, but I'm here all day every Saturday."

Being the only friend Evanee had accidentally brought over, Gemma was overly kind to him. Though her offer sparked something in the younger girl. She wouldn't mind Evan staying at her home if he acted like he did in front of her aunt. Most students haven't seen Evan in a state like this, courteous and kind, which made the moments he was special to Evanee. She wouldn't admit shit to anyone though.

After setting up the table for breakfast, Evanee had brought the teenage boy upstairs to show him the different rooms. "If you are going to be visiting regularly, you should know that the bathroom is the door at the end of the hall, the door across from it is my aunts, and this one is mine." She opened the first door to the right at the top of the stairs.

It was a fairly large room and it looked like heaven. The first thing that caught Evan's eye was the pool table at the center of the bedroom, then the large flat screen TV across from a queen size bed, and the large array of games for the Xbox one. In short terminology, it was a teenage boy's greatest dream. The dark blue walls added to the odd beauty of the room along with the old jukebox, the dark red mini fridge, dark red bean bags, and PC in the corner of the room.

"This is seriously the coolest room ever. I'm coming over every day." Evan took a seat on one of the bean bags. "I didn't mistake you for the type of girl who liked video games."

"Yeah, no one really knows about it though, except for my aunt of course. With all the equipment I have, I started a YouTube account but I haven't really posted anything yet." Evan thought about it a while and brought up a tempting offer.

"Are you planning to reveal who you are if you do?" Evanee shook her head. "Well, my friends and I also have YouTube channels and it'd be fine if you wanted to join in on the fun. We usually play GTA, gmod prop hunt, and gmod hide and seek. Have you heard of VanossGaming?"

A look of surprise replaced Evanee's calm features. "Is that your account? You're literally one of my favorite youtubers. I should've known. Does that mean those other butts are your other friends on YouTube?" Evan smiled and nodded at her.

He hadn't expected Evanee to have heard of his YouTube channel and certainly didn't expect that she would get so excited over a simple offer to play with them. In all honesty, it made him feel a bit special since he hadn't seen Evanee so excited. If she did start playing with them, Evan would have to introduce her to his friends. The thought bothered him quite a bit, since he had really enjoyed spending time alone with her and he'd have to talk with her in front of his friends.

"Evan! Evanee! Dinners ready." Gemma's shout reached Evanee's bedroom and both of them came down to eat.

Evan had expected a simple breakfast of buttered toast and eggs but he was met with one of the largest meals he's ever seen. Evanee's aunt had made sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, pancakes, fruits, and an assortment of syrups. Everything looked delicious and the fact that Gemma had assorted the food to look like smiley faces along with different shaped pancakes made the meal even better,

"Gemma loves to cook and when she does, she goes all out."

The guest's plate had an airplane shaped pancake and Evan was impressed by both the appearance and taste of the meal. Gemma had also brought out strawberry and banana smoothies that came with silly straws. It was the best meal that Evan had eaten in a while, since his mother was never home to cook and when she was home, she was too tired to.

At the end of the meal, Evan was ready to go home to get ready for the party at his house tonight. "The meal was wonderful Mrs.Pierce. I look forward to visiting again."

The three were all gathered by the front door and Gemma had given Evan a container full of pancakes and syrup if he wanted a snack, then she left to clean up the table. Then came the farewell between Evanee and Evan, which proved to be quite odd. They hadn't known each other for more than two days, so Evan was unsure if hugging would be appropriate between the two, but in the end he had decided to risk it. Evan had wrapped his arms around her waist and since she was much shorter, he had lifted her off the floor, causing Evanee to wrap her arms around his neck in fear of him dropping her.

"See ya Ducky," Evan whispered into her ear. The hug ended as a flash surprised the two. Gemma was standing near them holding a camera and smiling widely. Evan laughed awkwardly and waved bye to them, walking to his house across the street.
