The soft eyed daydreamer believed that most of the things that happened to her was either determined by her choices and the choices of others.

This. All of this was because of Evan and she couldn't deny it. It was entirely his fault for liking her and his fault for being ignored.

"You do know that it'd be better if you hung out with them, right? I don't need someone to feel bad for me," Evanee sighed, admiring the odd beauty of a cloudy day.

She turned her head slightly to see David doing the same. "I'm here  because I want to spend time with you, so hush."

Evanee smiled as her eyes traveled back to the the gray skies. The two of them were laid down on a single blanket that David had brought to school in the middle of their school field.

Originally, David was supposed to be spending his lunch with his other three friends but he really did enjoy the contempt silence he got to experience with Evanee. Maybe if they had met under different circumstances, without Evan, David would be the one to call the raven haired girl his, but he couldn't do that.

Not only was it weird since Evan had recently liked her, but also because he knew that Evanee still liked him. Evanee hadn't realized, but David knew she couldn't let go of Evan just yet, no matter how much she hated his guts.

"Thursdays at the Laser Tag place they hold tournaments. We could sign up with Tyler and Jonathan if you're up for it," Evanee suggested, knowing she didn't have much homework today.

But then she thought back to what had happened the last time she went; How she had bumped into Evan, how her body felt against his, the way he smiled at her. He had potentially ruined laser tag for her, but Evanee tried her best not to think about him.

David contemplated the idea for a second. "That sounds pretty good. I'm pretty sure its going to rain soon so the guys will probably like it."

Then came the sounds of shouts to their left. They both turned their heads to see three familiar faces walking towards them.

The green eyed girl sat up and smiled at them. "Hey guys," she greeted waving at Jonathan and Tyler. Then her eyes landed on Evan. "Hi, I believe we met earlier."

Tyler, David, and Jonathan stared at the two in fear and confusion.

"I don't think so bitch," Evan said with a frown. He hated that Evanee was pretending that she had forgotten him, even if he was the one who said he was done with her. "David, why didn't you go to the tables?"

"Because I wanted to hang out with this little bird," David said giving her a wink, which made Evanee laugh and Evan scowl. "We were planning on going laser tagging again. You guys up for it?"

The fact that David had also invited angered Evanee a bit since she didn't want to be near the Canadian fuckboy any longer than she had to be, but she knew that David was just trying to help the situation.

If she wanted to be the bigger person, she knew what she had to do. She'd do this for her friends and for herself.

"Evan, can I talk to you please?" The raven haired girl asked, standing up.

Seeing the serious look on her face, Evan agreed without any complaints or smart remarks. Although he was 'done' with her, he couldn't help but think about her constantly.

Leaving the three worried teenagers on the field, Evan followed the shorter girl to a secluded space behind the restrooms.

Taking a deep breath, Evanee began talking. "I don't feel like I'm the one who should apologize, but for David's sake and everyone else, I will. So I'm sorry for everything I've done that made you think it was acceptable to treat me like shit. If we can just put all of this bullshit behind us and act like adults, it'd be appreciated."

She held out her hand to signify that it was a deal, but she was certainly not ready when two soft hands held her face and pulled her lips to his. Completely aware that Evan had kissed her, the green eyed girl knew she should've kicked his balls and left, but she couldn't help but melt into the kiss. She could feel the heat radiating off of the muscular boy since he wss pressed up against her as they kissed. God, did she not want this to end, but the need for air had stopped the heated moment.

"You fucking asshole!" Evanee shouted right after she broke away and saw the smug smile on Evan's face. "Fuck, this is not how I imagined kissing you would be," whispered to herself, currently ignoring Evan's presence.

"So you have thought about kissing me?" Evan asked, the smile still lingering on his lips. "I mean if you weren't happy with it, we could always try again."

Evanee scoffed, completely disgusted by the asshole in front of her. What did she even think she could accomplish after talking to Evan? And how could he act like this after he said he was done with her and called her offensive names? What was his problem?

"You looked confused, Ducky. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm fulfilling my original promise. You remember it, right?" She looked equally as confused as she had ten seconds ago. "I told you I'd make your life a living hell and I've found how to do that exactly."

And he did. Evan had found the one thing that pissed Evanee off more than anything right now. He'd make her fall in love with him and she'd hate every second of it. But the raven haired girl knew what Evan was doing and she'd do the same thing.

"Game on."
