Chapter 4

*Addie's POV*

Sunday, August 4th, 2013

We just got back to the boys' apartment and Niall is already running to the kitchen to get popcorn and ice cream... Something that makes me want to throw up on the spot. Food. Gross. Food is bad.

"What movie are watching?" I ask, trying to change the subject and keep my vomit in my stomach.

"You can pick, if you'd like." Liam says and points a pile of movies. There isn't a whole lot, about 30 movies, so I guess it's alright. I say a thank you and walk over to the stack with Jennifer.

"I want to watch a scary movie.." I mumble quietly and Jen raises an eyebrow and questions me.

"Are you sure? You're usually not one to love that kind of movie, but I'm all for getting scared and maybe snugglin up to Harry." She says with a wink. I giggle and continue to look through the movies until I find what I'm looking for. I pull out The Exorcist and give Jennifer a shrug and she replied with a nervous laugh. It's the scariest looking one they have. I hear the lads walking into the living area and I turn around and hand the movie to Harry.

"Wow. You like the scary stuff, huh? Alrighty, well Jenny," He says, turning to Jennifer "If you get scared, I'll happily be your sexy shield." Harry goes to set up the movie.

"I'm just going to run over to my room and change quick." I say and run out of the apartment and go into mine next door. I then sprint to the bathroom and grab a toothbrush and continue with my routine.

After I finish, I clean up and go to my dresser. I pull out some leggings and slip those on. I take off my dress and now I stand in a bra and leggings. Knowing that no one else is home, I tip-toe-sprint across the main area of my apartment to steal a sweatshirt from Bradley but stop when I hear a door shut. I turn my neck and see Louis in my apartment. Louis. Of all people.

"Wow uh... Sorry, love. Jennifer asked if I would check on you. You were taking a bit." he states while trying not to look at my disgusting body.

"Well, I'm fine. But- Oh my god," I yell and immediately look down at my body. I remember that I'm basically topless. I cover up and run towards Bradley's room down the hall. I go into his closet and grab one of his college crew-necks and walk out into the hallway and stop when I see Louis still standing there. "Why are you still here?" I ask.

"Because I wanted to make sure you were okay." He says quietly.

"Just because I took a while doesn't mean I got attacked by a rapist." I laugh.

"That's not what I meant."

"Well, whatever you meant, I can assure you that I'm perfectly fine!" I fake smile.

"Are you su-" I cut him off.

"Positive! Let's go watch this movie now, shall we?" I say and then quickly burst out the door into his apartment and hop on the couch next to Zayn.

*Louis POV*

Monday, August 5th, 2013

I roll over to my right and feel a something in my way. I try lifting my arms to my face to rub my eyes before opening them, but something is on my right arm. I open my eyes, blink a few times, and look around me. I see Liam and Zayn are gone, probably asleep in their own rooms. Harry is sleeping on the ground. Niall is sleeping on the other couch and Jennifer is asleep on the chair. Then my eyes wander to the tiny figure next to me and I see that Addie is asleep next to me on the couch. Her arm is resting on my chest with her hand gently open. Her head is resting on the other side of my chest as well. I now know why my arm wasn't mobile: our fingers are entwined on my stomach/ribs.

I smile a little and remove my hand from hers and wrap it around her back, resting my hand on her little waist. She moves a little bit to reposition herself and stops moving as she continues to sleep. I start to rub her back a little until I feel some bumps. I start to feel around where the bumps are and look to notice that the bumps are her ribcage, which sticks out a lot. Before I know it, she jumps out of my arms and stands up, glaring at me.

"What are you doing?" She whisper-yells.

"Uh- I uh. I don't know, I-" I stutters. I really didn't expect her to wake up. I thought she was still completely asleep.

"Don't touch me." She says and storms out of the apartment.
