*Addie's POV*

Wednesday, November 13th, 2013

Jen pulls out her phone and smiles a little bit, but it quickly disappears. "I'm going....out. Will you be alright? Do you need anything?" She says quickly.

"Yes, I'll be fine," I lie.

"Great, see you later! Goodnight!" So that means she'll be out late. Awesome, now I'll just sit here and think. Thinking is bad for me. I should go to bed before it gets bad.

Walking into the rehabilitation center, the hallway is quiet and empty. "Everyone is outside right now." Pam says. Pam is the receptionist. The rehabilitation center is called The New York Rehabilitation Center. "This is Margaret, dear. Margaret will be your guide," she motions to the lady leaning on the front desk counter.

Suddenly, a girl walks out of her room. Her hair is messy. She looks like she has just woke up from a deep slumber. She has black leggings on with a flowery print nightgown. She looks down the hall one way, then the other and stares at me and Margaret. I guess not everyone is outside today.

"Who are you?" She says suspiciously.

"Grace, you're not outside with the others?" Margaret asks.

"Who is she?" Grace persists.

"Grace, this is A-." Margaret greets.

"Who are you?" Grace shouts. "You're not welcome here! Leave! You can't replace Harmony!" Grace starts to charge me. Margaret gets in front of me and grabs Grace when she gets close enough. Simultaneously, two guards intervene and sedate Grace and bring her back to her room.

What a warm welcome.

After the guards take Grace away, Margaret turns to me and gives me a smile. "I'll show you to your room."

I don't say anything. I just pull down my sleeves and walk with Margaret. When we get to my room, she takes my bag and puts it by my bed. There are no other beds in my room. I have a dresser and a small bathroom that's connected.

Margaret starts to leave, "Who was Harmony?" I ask.

Margaret sighs and turns back to face me, standing in the doorway. "Harmony was a girl who had been here for almost two years. She committed suicide two weeks ago. It's been hard for all of us, especially Grace. They were close."

Later that night.

"Addie, hello." I hear Margaret's voice and turn around. I was sitting on my bed; I had been in my room since Margaret dropped me off here today. I didn't go to dinner. I didn't go out and meet other girls. I sat and stared.

I turn to face Margaret. "Hi."

"I brought you some medication that everyone here has to take. It will help you sleep." My body took the medicine. "I'll come get you up in the morning for breakfast. It's at 10. Goodnight."

"Addie!" I scream at myself. "No! Stop thinking about it! Stop!"

"Where is she!?" I hear Louis' voice thundering.

"Sir, you can't see her. It's not allowed." A guard replies. I slowly rise out of bed.

"I want to see her! Let me see Addie! Addie?" Louis shouts and now I'm running out of my room.

He looks horrid. His hair is messy. His jeans are dirty and he has on a zip-up hoodie with nothing underneath. He's holding his beanie in his hand.

"L-Louis?" I tremble.

This was it. Louis came back for me. He loves me. He really loves me. I knew it was real. I knew he wouldn't leave me. I knew it. He really truly loves me.

"Ew, you look like a sick, stick figure. You're probably nothing but a fucked up freak. Why would anyone want someone who is in rehab?"

The guard disappeared. Louis and I were now standing alone in the hallway.

"B-But-"

"But what? You thought I could love you? You're disgusting. I'm Louis Tomlinson from One Direction, I couldn't date you. And I wouldn't."

Force plunges at my temple and pressure builds in my head. My cheek is slapped and starts to burn. Blood flows out of my nose as my sinuses start to throb from a blow to the face. My body hunches over on account of a gut punch. I fall to the ground. Saliva spits onto my face. "Worthless. By the way, have you met my girlfriend?" He motioned to a tall brunette standing next to him. He turns to her and says, "I love you babe," and they kiss in front of me.

Suddenly, this blood boiling, vocal cord cutting scream bursts out of my lifeless body and I awake from my nightmare.

I shoot up in my bed and scream.

I awake in my bed trying to forget the vivid events of my dream. "Addie! Addie! Wake up! It's okay!" Strong arms wrap around me. A comforting "shh" is made close to my ears. I feel a hand gently pulling my head into a muscular chest.

I squirm and panic. "Let go of me!" The person resists.

"Mason, let her go!" I hear Jen's voice say.

I start slapping and hitting Mason and he lets me go. "What's your problem? Don't fucking touch me again!"

"You wouldn't stop screaming," Mason defends. "I was trying to help, that's all!"

"Don't help me! I'm not a fucking charity case!" I spit.

"Addie, Mason was only doing what he thought was best. I thought it'd be fine," Jen defends Mason.

"I don't want Mason! I don't need him. I don't want any of you!"

"Then what do you want, then? Huh? All three of us are busting our asses to fucking make you happy! What the hell do you want?" Jen shouts.

"I want Louis."

"Well, he's not fucking here is he?" Mason says, then storms out of my bedroom. Through the doorway I see a shadow that doesn't match with Mason's actions.

Running out of the room to stop Mason, I shout, "Mason, what the hell? You're an asshole!"

Mason turns around and walks towards me. "You're the one moping around about some dick who left you! He has a girlfriend now, get over him! It's been three months already! You can't fucking appreciate real friends because you're too selfish. All you care about is being with someone who doesn't want to be with you, so fuck you, Addie," Mason yells.

Jen screams, "Just stop it, both of you!"

"Mason, do you like me?" I ask. I go numb. I've never heard Mason yell like that before. He's never been mean to me.

"I did. There's no way I do anymore," He says, then storms into his room.

I stand there and freeze.

That's it. It's true. No one cares about me. I wish I was dead. The last person that I thought would hurt me, did.

"Addie, he was just angry," Jen tries to comfort me.

"Save it, Jen."

"Did you have a nightmare earlier?"

"It started out as a memory. I dreamt about my first day at rehab. Then it turned into a terrible nightmare." I start to walk towards the kitchen to get some tea.

"Wait-"

A figure stands around the corner. It's Harry.
