*Addie's POV*

Wednesday, August 7th, 201

He follows me out to the hallway and we both groan at the blinding light. I look through my purse and find my key and we go in my apartment.

"Nice place you've got here." He says as I trudge to my room. "Tired much?" he laughs.

"You have no idea." I mumble but he doesn't hear me, instead he stands in the doorway with all 7 of my shopping bags.

Oh, you think I bought all of that? No. I'm broke. 3 of the bags I bought. The rest are from Louis. I need to hide my emotions better because he kept saying that he "saw it in my eyes" if I loved something.

"You can just toss those wherever, Lou." I say as I lazily flop my arm up and it falls and hits my leg. "Thank you for everything today. I had a lot of fun hanging out and getting to know you more; and it felt nice to get out and... be happy. I still think you shouldn't have bought me all of those clothes and accessories. I know I can't pay you back now, but I'll save up. Then will you let me pay you back?" He just chuckles and sets my bags down by my bed and walks out to the living room. I follow him and we both take a seat on the couch.

There's a silence between us, but it's not awkward. It's the "You're exhausted? Me too." silence and it's comfortable. I feel Louis sit up and turn towards me.

"Okay. You can pay me back tomorrow." Louis says shortly with a small smile creeping on his face.

"Oh.. uh. Okay. But I don't think I'll have money by tomorrow. I might have to take out a small loan, but that's okay, I guess." I say quietly and Louis chuckles. I give him a confused look.

"I want to take you on a date," he laughs.

"Me? Wh-Really? Why?" I stutter. I thought he thought of me only as a friend.

"Well, I think you're awesome. You're nice, funny, beautiful," He blushes and I let out a quiet "ha". He continues, "you actually understand sarcasm, and I want to get to know you better."

"Are you sure? Sure, I'd love to, but I'm not even that interesting!" His eyes grow wide.

"Oh, yes you are! You're the most interesting, enticing, and exciting girl I've ever met." I throw my head back and belly laugh. Which is a tad embarrassing.

After I pull myself together, I look at him and see him smiling at me. "You use that a lot, don't you? It came out of your mouth too easily."

"No, I actually don't. So, will you go on a date with me tomorrow night?" He stares into my eyes. His eyes are actually really pretty. They're like a blue-green right now.

"Sure." I say with a mesmerized smile.

"Great," he smiles. "Well, I'd better be off. I'll text you the details in the morning. Sound all right?"

I nod, "Yeah." We get up from the couch and I lead him to the door, "Thanks again, Lou." I open the door into the hallway for him.

"Anytime, love." And before I can say anything, he turns around and leans in close to me. He kisses me on the cheek. He pulls back, "Goodnight. Sweet dreams." And with that, he turned and left. I floated back to my room and fell asleep.

*Louis' POV*

"No, I actually don't. So, will you go on a date with me tomorrow night?" I stare into her bold, beautiful eyes hoping she says yes. She's really something. She's special. There's something about her that makes me want to know everything about her. Not because I'm curious, but I care. I actually care about her.

"Sure." She sends me a warm, genuine smile. I can tell when a smile is fake or if it's real and that's a real smile.

"Great," I say while sending a smile back. "Well, I'd better be off. I'll text you the details in the morning. Sound all right?" She nods and answers "yes" and says thank you to me again. She is so funny. It's really not a big deal. I have more than enough money for myself and she just lost her job today, so I wanted to spend money on her and try to cheer her up. I know that money can't buy everything, but, for today, it was all I could do.

She opens the door into the hallway. "Anytime, love," I reply. I act without thinking and, on pure instincts, I turn around, lean in, and kiss her on her cheek. I pull away and say goodnight. Then I leave.

Walking back into my apartment, I wonder if I took it too far. Maybe I shouldn't have kissed her. Maybe it was too much. We met a week ago and we've hung out 4 times. Maybe it's fine. What if she doesn't like me? Oh well, I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I go to see if the boys are still up and find them nearly asleep watching the movie.

"So, how'd it go, eh?" Harry winks. "Did you guys kiss?

"No, Harold," I laugh. "G'night, boys." I go to my room and crawl into bed and fall asleep.
