*Eleanor's POV*

I look around the room and see all of the guys from One Direction, except for Louis. It's past midnight and we are all exhausted, but here for a purpose: to help Louis. Harry is sitting on his bed. Liam is sitting in a black, suede chair. Zayn is sitting on the foot of Harry's bed.
"Are you sure he's asleep?" Niall asks about Louis as I walk into Harry's room and join Niall sitting on Harry's blue, leather couch..
"Yes, I'm sure. He took a sleeping pill about an hour ago," I assure him.
"What's going on?" Zayn asks.
"Uh, I'm just going to say it," I look at Zayn, then Niall, wearily. He nods in encouragement. "I was hired to date Louis."
"Oh," Zayn says nonchalantly.
"We know, El," Liam says.
"Oh, well that was easy. How?" I ask.
"Come on, El," Liam practically laughs, "All he's been doing since we got back is sulk and occasionally talk about Addie. You guys started dating after knowing each other for a week. Unless you guys are having sex every night, which we know you aren't, you'd probably have dumped him already. Any girl would have."
"I've honestly been dying to get out," I admit. "It really sucks being in a relationship when you're constantly unwanted." I look up from my fidgeting fingers at the boys. Zayn and Liam were looking at the floor. Harry had his head resting on his knees in his bed, staring at his feet. He had been sitting like that all night long. And as I spoke, Niall attentively listened and focused his gaze on me. When I looked over to him after admitting how I felt about my relationship with Louis, his eyes were a little sad, and he gave me a half smile for encouragement.
"Don't let it get to ya. I love Louis, but he isn't worth it when his heart is with someone else. You both deserve better, yeah?" Niall says.
He is such a sweetie. "Yeah, thanks," I say.
"No problem," Niall smiles.
"So, why are we here?" Zayn asks.
I give Niall a glance before saying, "I want to, erm..." I trail off, realizing that I didn't about how I was going to phrase my pitch. "Niall, can you help me out here? I'm stuck."
I giggle softly. "Sure," Niall says. "Lads, you've all noticed how Louis has been since we left the states. Devastated. I'm worried about him, I'm sure you all are too."
"Yeah, we all have been," Zayn says.
I look at Harry who still hasn't said anything yet tonight. This is probably hardest on him. He and Louis have always been close. "Louis isn't happy. It affects us all. So, Eleanor and I think we need to try to reconnect him with Addie."
"What?" Zayn asks.
"Why Addie?" Liam asks.
"He doesn't want me here. He obviously misses her," I say.
"He does; he still talks about her," Harry finally chimes in.
"Really?" I ask.
Harry nods in response. "I never saw the lad happier than he was with Addie," Niall says.
We all sit in silence and mutual agreement.
"And everything with the band has just gone to shit since we got back," Niall says. I take my gaze away from him and look back down at my nails. Is it my fault?
"It really has," Zayn agrees, "so, how are we supposed to do this?"
We sit in silence once again. After about 15 seconds, I see Liam and Harry look at each other, almost telepathically. "Do you have any ideas?" I ask them.
Harry shifts in his bed uncomfortably. "Mate, come on," Liam urges him.
"Shut up, Liam," Harry says bitterly.
"Dude, if you know something, say it," Niall demands.
"Jennifer, Addie, Mason, and Bradley moved to the UK." Harry hesitantly opens his mouth. "I've been with Jen, a-and we've talked about Addie. She doesn't want Louis to get back into Addie's life. She says that she wants Addie to try to move on without him. She said that it would be better for her."
"Do it for the band, Harry," Niall says in frustration and Zayn nods in agreement.
"Yeah, come on Harry," Zayn says.
The door to the bedroom opens softly, but not slowly. "Is that all you care about? You only care about the fucking band?" Louis steps in. He has on sweatpants only.
But, there's more than sweatpants too look at. Louis' eyes are red and puffy. The skin looks dry and wrinkly from irritation from tears. The light from Harry's bedside table allows us to see just enough of the physical damage that Louis is suffering. He has a few bruises on his torso, including one serious purple/blue one, and a splattering of small bruises on his arms as if they were there because of pinching. He had a lot of cuts on his arms. Some scars too.
I looked for as long as I could bear, which was only for a few seconds, before I gasped and looked away. "Louis, you should go put something on," Niall urgently suggested.
"Why? Can't bear to see some cuts? Aren't we all in pain? Doesn't everybody hurt? Aren't you all burdened by me?" Louis says in a twisted, sick way.
"Louis, please stop," Harry begs.
"How can you even ask me that? You didn't tell me that Addie is in the UK! You've been talking to Jennifer! I could be with Addie! Addie and I need each other." After Louis says that, he widens his eyes and rushes towards Harry. "Let me talk to her."
"Mate, you need to calm down," Harry warns. He gets up off of his bed and stands on the other side of it, where he is out of Louis' reach and holds his phone behind his back. Louis is in tears now. I can hardly watch him. I had no idea how much he had been damaging his body. Zayn gets off the bed too and stands against the wall to get out of their way.
"Harry, give me your phone. I need to talk to Addie," Louis cries with anger.
"Louis, I'm not su-" Harry starts.
"Harry, let me talk to her or I'll do it," Louis says as he pulls a handgun up to his chest. "I can't live without her anymore."
"Louis, put the gun down," Liam says calmly and slowly as he stands up. Harry freezes, staring at his best friend.
"Let me hear her. Just let me talk to her."
