"I never knew you had such little faith in me." I said while placing my things down by the door. "It's not that I have little faith in you, it's more of myself." He confesses.

"What do you mean?"

"I guess I should work on my confidence levels." He shrugs. I stay silent. Does he think that he's not good enough?

"I love you." I finally say. I watch his shoulders stiffen, I could barely tell it happened, but it did. That action made me nervous. "And I love you." He says.

The rest of the night was a bit quiet. Andy was focusing on song lyrics while I was studying my literary terms. My phone buzzes and I place my hot chocolate down to replace it with the device.

*Clay Thomas. Do you remember me?*

Do I remember you? How could I forget?

*Yes*

*How are you? We haven't talked in years.*

*Good. You?*

*Im alright. So what are you up to?*

*Literature homework.*

*Sounds interesting.*

I put my phone away because the whole concept of texting him was making me extremely uncomfortable. I continue to study and sip on my warm drink. It's finally starting to get cold outside. I can't stand the tension between Andy and I, so I decide to call Marie and have her pick me up to go get some pastries. I grab light cardigan and slip on my combat boots. "Where are you going?" Andy asks me almost emotionlessly. "To get some pastries with Marie." As soon as the words left my lips a horn honked outside. "Bye, Andy." I say and close the door before he could say anything.

"How are you?" I ask my best friend as I get into her car. "Better. My mom really helped me out." I knew she would be alright. "That's really good." Should I tell her about the whole thing with Andy? She probably already knows. "What did Andy ask you about Clay?" I questioned. "Nothing... He asked why you were so down. That's what I assumed." She explains. "Why did you assume?"

"I gave him your number a while back... I thought he had texted you."

"He did today, but I actually had this weird flashback dream last night. It was one day when we were at William's camp. It triggered a lot of different feelings. Andy is super pissed about Clay..." I sighed.

"What did he say?" She asks curiously. I read our texts out loud and she giggled. "He's still stupid." "He's not stupid Marie." I replied while trying to hide the smile on my face. We arrived at a small cupcake shop that had any kind of sweet you could possibly think of. We sat down at a table and chatted amongst ourselves while eating our desired pastries. "So, since I just finished moving my things into the house, it's mine because it was under my name, I decided that I'm going to have a party Wednesday night!" She says excitedly. She seems to be doing dramatically better. "What kind of party?" I question. "Obviously a huge one." I smirks. "Of course." I smile back at her. "I invited a bunch of our friends and they said they would bring along some others. You're coming whether you like it or not."

"Isn't that a bit dangerous?" I lift an eyebrow quizzically.

"I think we're good." She replies.

"What are you wearing?" I ask her nervously. "A dress. I was going to go to the mall after this." "Can you bring me? I only have three dresses." I pout, I would wear the one from Andy, but I kind of want something red. "Yeah sure! Let's go girly." She says and drags me out of the shop.
