His lips softly, slowly, and carefully place themselves on to mine. My lips tingle at the contact. The feeling of longing for him fills my heart as his lips slowly, yet passionately, dance with mine, trying to make the most of our one kiss. His tongue trails across my bottom lip, and my grip tightens on his hair. My tongue brushes his and his grip on my hips tightens. He pulls away slowly and inhales deeply. His head falls on my shoulder. "God. You've always been a so good. So addicting."

The faint taste of spearmint lingers on my lips and I do nothing to get it off.

"We better finish cleaning." I say as he lifts his head up. He plants a quick, sweet kiss on my lips and releases me.

He walks away, and I hear the clinging of cans as he licks them up. I inhale and exhale, taking in the moment to its full potential.

A sense of something like relief washes over me. I feel so much better now. Like the hole in my heart is finally sealed.

Finally.

And no one has to know.

I finally snap out of my head and start to clean up some more. I made the bed and we eventually found all of the cams scattered across the room. "I think we're done." He says. "Yeah." I agree, and we walk out of the room. "Marie and James are in there." Clay says. I walk over to the room and reach to grab the doorknob when I hear a thud, like something being pushed up against the wall. I look back at Clay and his eyes widen. I cover my mouth to prevent giggling and he quickly motions me back over to him. I tip toe back and we laugh quietly while going down the stairs.

"James is quite the charmer." Clay laughs. "Stop!" I laugh while covering my face. His eyes twist in amusement and our laughs sound together. "At least you didn't hear anything more than a thud." He places the trash can down in its original place, and wanders over to the fridge. He pulls out a gallon of chocolate ice cream. "Want some?" He asks. "I don't know if we should eat her ice cream." I laugh.

"I'm pretty sure she doesn't mind right now." He smiles while removing the lid. I shake my head and bury my head in my hands.

We sit on the couch and eat our ice cream. "I'm proud you really are a police officer." I admit. "Thanks. I'm glad you're going to be a writer." He says. "How did you know?" I asked him. "Marie and I have been talking lately. I first contacted her about the stuff with William because he told me. Did she tell you he's not coming back? Selfish bastard." My heart aches for her. "No she didn't tell me. I figured he wouldn't come back though." He sighs, "Even the most perfect relationships break."

"Tell me about it." I murmur.

"Are you still in to running and dance?" He asks. I nod, my mouth being full of ice cream. "You should come run with James and I sometime." He suggests.

"Clay... Andy." I say to him. "I know. But it's never too late to try and fix things. I want you back in my life again. I don't care what way, shape or form."

"Ivory!" Marie yells from upstairs. "Didn't you have class today?"

I gasp and Clay laughs. "Um, yes!" I reply.

"Nice one!" She yells.

"You just keep doing what you're doing! Don't scream for me! Scream for your company!" I yell back in revenge for her calling out on forgetting class. I had a long night and morning, okay? Clay slaps my arm and roars in laughter. An idiotic smile spreads across my face.

"Care to join?" James' British accent rings.

"No thanks!" I yell back, then a door shuts.

Clay is still laughing beside me, and I place my bowl on the table with a giggle. I open up my phone to see that it's almost noon. Maybe I can catch my afternoon classes? "Alright, I better go." I smile. "You're leaving?" He asks. "Yeah. I better try and catch my afternoon classes." He gets up just as I do. "Tell Marie I'll call her tonight when she gets out."

"If she ever gets out." Clay laughs. "Gosh, what kind of friends do you have?" I ask. "Male ones." I laugh at his response as we walk out of the door. "Is this your car?" He asks. "No. It's Andy's." I say, a wave of guilt fills my stomach.

"I know what you're thinking. I can see right through you. No one has to know what we do." He says. I open up the car door and stick the key in. I sigh. "I'd like to think that. Andy will never trust me." "I'm sorry." He apologizes. "It's okay. Honestly, I don't regret it." I confess.

"One more." He says while pushing me against the car. I lick my lips and he kisses me once again. The hunger he's feeling is clearly shown through his passion. "Fuck, I missed you, Ivory. I'm so sorry." He says while pulling away. Before I could say anything, his lips meet mine again in a soft peck. "Now go." He says. I quickly get into the car and back out of her driveway.

My head tries to process the absurd amount of things that have happened in the last twenty four hours, but it can't. I sit back and take a deep breath at a red light. What am I thinking?

What am I doing?

I open my phone to still see no texts from Andy.

I arrive on campus just before class starts, and I finish off the day.

I decide to stop by my dorm before going back to the apartment. I go through my refrigerator and take out all of the expired food, which surprisingly isn't much. I haven't been to my dorm in a while.

I arrive at Andy's apartment and receive a warm greeting from Crow. I pick him up and sit on the couch. I watch a bit of TV and eventually fall asleep for about an hour.

I get into the shower and let the water run over my body.

What am I going to do?

Is it possible to have two great loves in your life?

Which way do I go?

I turn the water on hot and let the steam swallow me whole.

I lay down in bed with my hair still well and my eyes red, swollen, and puffy. I quickly fall asleep from mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion.
