Twins.
Everyone has at least entertained the thought of having an identical twin. It's a popular fascination. Many minds race at the thought of having a twin.
It's so strange, To think there'd be two of you. What is it like, having a twin? Would you have the same interests? Can you actually feel each other pain?
But, Calum Hood, he fantasized what it was like to not be born with a copy of himself tagging along. To him, his twin is the definition of annoying.
Calum hates having a twin. Always being compared to his bother, never recognized as Calum, but one of the Hood twins.
But Thomas wasn't particularly thrilled about having a twin either. He didn't like the fact that people automatically assume him and his brother are exactly the same, when they're completely different.
He didn't like the example his parents made out of him, or the fact that his brother dragged the family name though dirt.
It wasn't always this way. The house used to be full of love, the twins glued at the hip, happy parents, smiling faces.
But when jealously turns to hate and pressure begins to not just bend but break, with expectations not filled, love is the last thing you find.
One thing's for sure, in the Hood house, it's double or nothing.

(Just a little insight on the book)
Calum is punk and Thomas is a nerd.
This is not your average family.
