Revenge

The Mission

When Danny woke up he looked over to see Zombie but he wasn't there. He checked under the blanket but he still couldn't find him. Raven came in the room with a tray full of breakfast and Zombie trailing not to far behind her.

"You didn't have to do this." Danny said motioning to the tray in her hands.

"Of course I had to, everything that happened is my fault and now it's my responsibility to look after you."

"I'm not some little kid Raven, I can take care of myself, besides it was my choice to do this with you, I should have been more careful and prepared."

She placed the tray down on the night stand by the bed and huged him. She backed up after a few minutes and held his shoulders, looking into his eyes.

"No you should just go while you can, I don't want you to get hurt because of me."

"He hurt my friend and my family, I need to get my revenge."

Danny gave her cute little puppy eyes and she caved in.

"Fine, whatever just make sure you never leave my side, and if anything out of the ordinary or suspicious happens tell me right away."

"Deal."

Danny grabbed the tray and started to eat, Raven just shook her head and giggled. Zombie snuck up from behind Danny, took his bacon and ran out the door as fast as he can. Both teens laughed and Zombie came back a little while later looking satisfied with what he just did. He jumped up on the bed and looked up at Danny as if mocking him and saying "Ha! I took you food and you wont do anything about it cause I'm to cute."

"I think he's mocking you Danny." Raven said while trying to hold in a laugh.

"Yeah, he knows I wont do anything, I love him so much." Danny said as he scooped Zombie up into his arms.

"We should take a break from the search for a while to just relax." Raven said

"That sounds amazing! I really need a break from all of this."

While on their break they put on some music and just had an awesome dance party, they made sundaes and Danny showed Raven a few new video games that came out. overall the whole day was just full of fun, they plan to do this for a while but if they run into a clue while on their day off they won't hesitate to search for him. They were now on the couch watching Netflix and Danny ordered a pizza.

"This was the best day ever, I had so much fun." Raven was currently looking for something to watch and Danny came back into the living room with some soda.

The doorbell rang and he was going to go to the door but Raven stopped him, he looked over at her to see she looked slightly scared, right when he was going to ask if everything is ok she pointed to Zombie who looked petrified. He went over to the draw by the door and took out a knife, he sneaked over to the window and moved the curtains slightly to see it was just the delivery guy. The doorbell rang again and he opened the door, as soon as he was going to pay the delivery guy was shot in the head, but there was nobody around when he looked to see who did it. He took both the pizza and the delivery guy in the house. Zombie, Danny, and Raven looked horrified. You would think they would be getting used to it but I don't think anyone could get used to such a gruesome sight except for a psychopath.

"Did you see anyone do it."

"No, I looked outside but I didn't see anyone. It was like they just disappeared."

"Wait look, another note."

Danny grabbed some gloves from the kitchen and pulled the bloodied piece of paper out of the guys head, as he took it out brain matter fell from it, onto the guy's face, the paper had deep red strings of blood connecting to the exit hole the bullet left.

"I thought this supposed to be our day off."

He shook the note slightly and bits of the brain that stuck to it fell off onto the floor making a plopping noise as it hit the ground. Raven hid behind a little couch pillow and Zombie, being the brave cat he is, slowly walked over to the body and started to sniff it.

"Zombie! No! Stop, that's disgusting!"

Danny just laughed at his actions. The whole situation was a mess, Danny was laughing the entire time while Raven was trying to ward off a confused Zombie who had some blood on his face.

"Danny help me! Get her away!"

Danny laughed some more as he took Zombie and cleaned him up. When he came back he put the curious little cat back on the couch, he picked the note back up and read it out loud to Raven.

"So sorry to ruin your pizza relaxation night but I'm afraid it is quite urgent, I forgot to tell you something that may affect this whole big search thing. I know where your father is, but I don't think you want to see him as of now. Sorry for the inconvenience."

"I can't believe this, I'm so sorry."

Danny looked at the floor in shock, Raven ran over to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, he began to slowly fall to the floor. All of these questions ran through his mind, how long has he had him, is he still alive, why did he take him, is he just saying that to get to me, why did he do this, why is he doing this to me!
