Popular and Nerd's Cliché

The popular people--the hottest, richest and snobby-ish people in the school, who sit together and know all the gossip.

The nerds--the people who read all the time, wear weird clothes, and glasses and braces.

Ok, I find a lot of wrong things wrong with these things. Realistically, if you're hot, sure, maybe some people will like the LOOK of you, but if you're an ass, NO ONE WILL LIKE YOU. I'm sorry. It's the truth.

And nerds--okay, just because people read doesn't mean they're nerds. KAY? GOT IT? Good.

And I can't stress this enough--PEOPLE WEAR GLASSES BECAUSE THEY HAVE BAD EYESIGHT. Why should wearing glasses make us a nerd? Same with braces--people wear them because THEY HAVE WONKY TEETH. KAY? I know many pretty people with glasses and braces...some with both. And in real life they aren't classified as nerds. So if you're trying to make you're book somewhat realistic and you mention 'the popular's consisted of pretty, mean people,' and, 'the nerd adjusted her glasses and nervously ran her tongue around her braces', I will exit out of you're book.
