The End

Oh, wow. This is the first update in, what, a year and a half?
Heh. Sorry about that.
To be honest, I kind of forgot about wattpad, this account and my published stories. It's currently 3am on New Years Day and I suddenly remembered about this book lol so here I am.
As you can tell by the title, I'm ending Wattpad Clichès (or you could tell by the fact I update once every blue moon jddjdjndmd). I really enjoyed writing this book, what, three years ago? But I really can't anymore. The support I've got for it is amazing, and I can't thank you all enough or even comprehend the words to explain how grateful I am that I've had all you readers, voters and commenters on this book.
I suppose like most things you made three years ago, I seriously cringe at some of the stuff I wrote in this book lmao what was i thinking,,,,but the main reason I'm ending it is because I don't really support the foundation of this book anymore.
Some clichés are horrible, I'll give you that. I'm talking the ones that endorse hateful stereotypes about marginalized groups or ones that are downright abusive or creepy. But that covers a very small number of the clichés I've ranted about in this book, and the rest are just very nitpicky. If you want to write a story about a 17 year old girl named Kylie who spills her Starbucks on Harry Styles only to find out he's a werewolf and has imprinted on her, then do it! Write for yourself, write what you want to write, and don't stop yourself because a book like this said "lmao werewolves are shit if u write abt it ur stupid and cringy", y'know?
So go out there, kill off your MCs parents, or make them go on an abrupt trip to Africa for 6 months leaving the house to MC. Have all the characters have gleaming white teeth! (Seriously I have no idea what i was thinking when i wrote that one. Who tf wants to read about Ryders stanky yellow molars and his onion breath?) Have a character interrupt MC and their LI just as they're about tonkiss. As long as you're not inflicting harmful stereotypes or condoning abuse or anything like that, do what makes you happy! Because, in the end, I think that's the whole point of writing. And clichés become clichés for a reason - because they're fun to read, and they're fun to write.

Anyway, that's it. I probably won't be posting anything on this account anymore, or using it to be honest. If it makes you happy to know, I'm in a really good place right now, the best I've been in a while.
I'd just like to thank every voter and commenter, especially those from the very beginning (though I doubt they're going to be reading this lol). You were the reason this book went on for so long. Thank you to every person who gave me ideas for chapters to write. This book, and all the positive comments to something I created really helped with my desperate need for validation when I was younger hehe. but in all seriousness, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. For your votes, for your comments, for your reads. I may not continue using the account after this, but Wattpad really helped me a few years ago and i really cannot thank u enough.
