'PAR-TAY' cliche
There's this HUGE party happening--everyone will be there, there'll be drinks, sax, and...um...(gonna keep this book PG) more. Use your inagination.
The protagonists friend is helping her pick out the clothes--the friend is SOO picky, but eventually finds the 'perfect dress' in the back of protagonists closet, still in its wrapper. Protagonist says she bought it a year or so back, and it was HUGELY PRICED, but too beautiful to resist. Funny how it still fits, huh? And, since the protagonist is usually poor, you'd think the parents would like that money for food, not a dress she never wore, huh?
At the party the girl loses her friend, then a creepy person comes and won't take no for an answer. He's about to... well, you know, but the protagonists future love-interest barges in and saves her!!!
