I haven't updated in like 4 months. And the award for the biggest asshole goes to...Donald Trump! But seriously, I'm like first runner-up.

'Deaths' clichè

Now, I'm not even just talking about Wattpad books here. This goes to published, popular books as well.
Death. It's the circle of life, right? You're born, then you die with a whole lot of hormonal angst and crying in the middle.
But it's not to say your death will be emotional and honorable like...well, basically every book.

"How did you're father die?" Ryder asked softly, taking my hand.
I sniffed delicately. "It was in a war. He carried 84 people out only to be blown up."
Ryder's eyes filled with sympathy. "I'm so sorry. How did your mother die again?"
My eyes filled with sparkling tears. "She was at the beach and a shark came. She warned all the swimmers only to be mauled by the shark."
"What a cruel world." Ryder said sadly, shaking his head.
I mean, yes, some people go out like that. But more often then not, it's just of something natural or something unheroic.
But never have I seen in a story this:

"How did your father die?" Ryder asked softly, taking my hand.
I sniffed noisily. "He...he was watching TV while eating. He laughed at a cat vine while eating a mince sausage, and the sausage became lodged in his throat. He was still grinning when we found him."
Ryders eyes filled with sympathy. "I'm so sorry. How did your mother die again?"
My eyes filled with salty tears. "She fell asleep on the toilet and my cat ate her face off."
"What a cruel world," Ryder said sadly, shaking his head.

See? You never hear of the guy who died laughing at his joke or the dude who bit his tongue, which got infected and he subsequently died?
Remember this: not everyone dies a heroes death.
