Seem's the police would be able to find out where a 16/17 year old boy is hiding and planning the death of his ex, hmm? Or USE the main girl as bait to capture him? I dunno, just seems like the police aren't pulling any extra weight around here.
Also, the bad boy has an ex whom he dated and broke up with before the book started or he broke up with her during the book. Either way, she is a crazy wacko and threatens/beats up the protagonist when she starts going out with the bad-boy.
You know, there are some people who get dumped, cry for a few days, then GET OVER IT.
I know it adds to the drama, but you're kinda giving dumped girls a bad reputation.
