Chapter 3

*back at their house*
"Ugh I don't want to go to school tomorrow" Jasmine whined as they walked into their house.
"Nobody does especially on their first day of high school but don't worry I'm sure you'll do fine" Brent said. "Well I guess we'll have to wait and see goodnight" Jasmine said. She went to her room, changed into her pjs and got into bed drifting off to sleep.
*The next day*
Jasmine woke up to her alarm ringing. "ugh five more minutes" Jasmine said but she felt someone start jumping on her bed.
"JASMINE WAKE UP" Brent yelled as he jumped up and down on Jasmine's bed. "UGH OK IM UP" Jasmine said annoyed making him laugh.
"Get out!" Jasmine said as she got up. "Why?" Brent asked confused. Jasmine gave him an are you an idiot look. "Cause I need to change so get out" Jasmine said as she pushed him out and closed the door.
She went to her closet and tried to find something to wear. She put on her red/black flannel with a black t-shirt and black skinny jeans. She quickly put on her black flats and curled her hair. She grabbed her backpack and stuff and went downstairs.
"Good morning sweet heart I made chocolate chip pancakes" their mom said. She served Jasmine breakfast. "Thanks mom" Jasmine said.
She started to eat quickly. "See if you had woken up earlier you wouldn't have to rush" Brent said smiling. Jasmine just rolled her eyes. She quickly finished eating.
"We should get going bye love you mom" Jasmine said as Brent got his keys and they went outside into his car.
*At their high school*
They got out of Brent's car and walked inside to their high school.
"You nervous?" Brent asked. Jasmine nodded. They went to the office to get Jasmine's schedule. "Ok so go to this room that's your home room then the rest will be easy just look at the hallway and room numbers" Brent said. Jasmine nodded nervously. "Hey you're gonna be fine ok?" Brent said as he hugged her.
They let go as they suddenly heard a familiar voice. "Hey Brent" Chris said walking over to them. "Oh hey Jasmine you go here now? Is this your first day?" Chris asked her. "Yeah I'm really nervous" Jasmine said looking down. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll be great! It's my brothers first day too! Hey Crawford where are you?" Chris said looking behind him. A boy similar looking to him came running over. "This is my brother Crawford. Crawford, this is Jasmine, Brent's sister" Chris said as Crawford and Jasmine shook hands. "Hey" Jasmine said as she studied him.
He had amazing chocolate brown eyes. She quickly looked away. "Um hey" Crawford said back shyly. "Jasmine let me see your schedule" Chris said. Jasmine handed it to him.
"You both have the same classes this is great! It'll be easier for the both of you" Chris said handing Jasmine her schedule back. "You two can go to your classes together so you won't feel alone" Brent said. "Um...yeah sure why not? If that's ok with Crawford" Jasmine said looking over to him. He looked at her nervously and looked at Chris. "Yeah it's fine with me" Crawford said. "Well we have to get going get to home room before the bell rings ok?" Brent said as he and Chris walked to their own classes and left Crawford and Jasmine standing there alone.
