Chapter 5

The rest of the day Crawford was really serious and quiet. Jasmine didn't like that. She was determined to figure out what was wrong with him. After class they went to their lockers to put their books away.
"Hey do you wanna hang out with me and Brent today?" Jasmine asked Crawford. "Um sure" he said without looking at her.
"You know you can talk to me if you need to talk about something" Jasmine said. He just looked down. "Yeah I know...trust me Jasmine I'm fine" He said smiling. Jasmine knew he was faking it.
They closed their lockers and walked to their brothers together. Brent was talking to Eva while Chris was on his phone. "Hey Jas you ready to go?" Brent said as he got his stuff. "Yeah is it cool if Crawford comes over?" Jasmine asked. Brent nodded.
"Text me when you want me to pick you up" Chris said to Crawford. He nodded.
They said bye to Eva and Chris and walked over to Brent's car and got in.
*back at their house*
"We'll be in my room" Jasmine said as she dragged Crawford upstairs into her room. She put her backpack away as he sat on her bed. "Your rooms really organized" Crawford said as he looked around. "Yeah I am a girl after all" Jasmine said making him laugh.
"Crawford...I know there's something wrong with you" Jasmine said getting serious. He looked at Jasmine with sad eyes.
"What is it?" Jasmine asked as she sat down next to him. "Um I-i don't think I can tell you yet it's just.... We just met" Crawford said. Jasmine laid down and laughed. "Okaaaay then let's play 10 questions you ask me ten and I'll do the same" Jasmine said. Crawford laid down next to her. "Okay but I don't know how this is gonna help" Crawford said. "Trust me it will" Jasmine said smiling.
