Jasmine started leaning in too.
She could feel his breath against her lips.
Their lips were so close to touching when the doorbell suddenly rang. They pulled away quickly.
"Um...ill go get that" Jasmine said as she walked out and went downstairs.
Whoa we almost kissed Jasmine thought as she opened the door.
"Hey what happened?" Brent asked as he and Chris came in.
"Hey um Crawford got beat up by some guy" Jasmine said.
Chris got really mad and ran upstairs.
"Are you ok? Did he hurt you?" Brent asked searching her for any injuries.
"Brent I'm fine he didn't hurt me I'm the reason he stopped beating Crawford up" Jasmine said.
Brent nodded and went upstairs. Jasmine followed him.
"Who was it?! Was it the same guy from last year?!" Chris said really mad.
Crawford sat there looking down and nodded. "Wait this happened last year?" Jasmine asked. "Yeah only it was worse and Crawford nearly committed suicide" Chris said running his hands through his hair.
Oh my god why does this happen to him? I wish he knew how I felt about him Jasmine thought.
"You know what I'm done you're doing online classes now" Chris said as he walked out angrily. Brent followed him.
Jasmine stood there and stared at Crawford. "Why aren't you leaving mad like everyone else?" Crawford said looking down.
"Cause I'm not like everyone else" Jasmine said. He looked up at her and smiled a little.
"I might do online classes too. My mom was considering it anyways since this whole YouTube thing started with Brent" Jasmine said. She sat next to Crawford.
"I couldn't imagine you not being here..." Jasmine said tearing up. He looked at her and hugged her.
"Shhh don't cry it was last year and this year things changed....I met you" Crawford said. Jasmine pulled away and looked at him. He smiled a little making her smile.
"I love your smile" he said making her blush and look away.
"Jasmine we gotta go" Brent said from downstairs. "Ugh ok going" Jasmine said as she started to get up. Crawford grabbed her hand though and got up. "Thanks by the way for protecting me" Crawford said. "Anytime" Jasmine said. She kissed his cheek and went downstairs smiling to herself like an idiot.
