Chapter 8

After Brent went upstairs, Jasmine sat there thinking, "Brent can't stop making videos his fans will miss him they'll feel like he forgot about them" Jasmine thought to herself. She got up and went to her room. She searched through her closet and found what she was looking for. Her old camera. She took it out and set it up. She got out her laptop and got to work. She made a channel with her name and tried to think of what her first video would be about. She couldn't believe she was doing this. Jasmine didn't know how to start. She decided to call Crawford.

C-hey what's up?
J- hey crawf I'm kind of maybe starting a YouTube channel.... Can you come over and help me out?
C- of course! I'll be over in a few minutes
J- ok bye
C-bye

Jasmine hung up and got so excited. She went over to Brent's room to see how he was doing. She could hear him talking.
"So guys today I wanted to make a really serious video" Brent said in his room.
Jasmine decided not to bother him so she went back to her room. She saw a car park into their driveway.
She quickly went downstairs and opened the door so Brent wouldn't hear.
"Hey" Crawford said as he came in. "Hey Brent's making a video so we're gonna have to be really quiet I also want this to be a surprise for him" Jasmine said as Crawford nodded. They tip toed upstairs into her room.
"I can't believe you're finally doing this what changed your mind?" Crawford asked. "Um maybe I'll tell you another time" Jasmine said. She wasn't ready to tell Crawford just yet.
"Oh ok here" Crawford said as he set everything up for her and then got behind the camera.
"I'll film. This is your first video so all you have to do is talk about yourself and the stuff you'll be doing on your channel. Don't get nervous I'm right here and if you stutter you can edit it out later or I can help do that haha" Crawford said. Jasmine laughed and smiled.
"Ok when you're ready" Crawford said. Jasmine took a deep breath and gave him a thumbs up. He started recording.
"Heyyyyy guys so you guys are probably thinking what the heck JASMINE RIVERA HAS A CHANNEL NOW? Yes yes I do. I thought about it for a while and decided you know what this actually might be fun" Jasmine said smiling.
"Anyways for my first video I'm going to be doing 10 facts about me so you guys can get to know me better so let's get to it" Jasmine said as she got her notebook out that had her facts. "Ok #1 I am 17 years old. #2 my favorite color is blue any shade of blue really. I think I have told you guys that on Brent's channel haha ok now #3 I am terrified of snakes and heights #4 I love music like literally almost any type #5 I am single I'm not the one to think about guys too much I like to enjoy my teen years the most that I can #6 I absolutely LOVE Arizona green tea like literally I have packs of them hidden in my room cause Brent said I had an addiction which I probably do haha #7 I have never broken any bones I've come close sometimes #8 My favorite place to shop at is at Hot Topic if you haven't been there then I'd suggest you pause this and go now haha #9 I don't wear makeup I have said that to Brent many times and it seems to surprise him but seriously I just don't like it #10 my last fact is that other than me and Brent, we had another brother and sister named Brice and Lexi they died in a car accident a few years ago so Brent and I have been really protective over each other" Jasmine said as Crawford stared at her sadly.
"Anyways so that was 10 facts about me I hope you guys liked it if you did give it a thumbs up and subscribe I'm gonna try to make video twice a week anyways stay happy be positive and be you love you guys byeeeee" Jasmine said as she covered the screen and ended the video.
