Chapter 25

Everyone started gathering around Crawford and the guy. The guy started beating him up. "No! Stop!" Jasmine said. She pushed through the people and tried to get to Crawford.
Once she got past them she pushed the guy out of the way and helped Crawford up.
"Bitch get out of my way" the guy said but Jasmine stood in front of Crawford.
"I'm not gonna let an asshole tell me what to do" Jasmine said.
Crawford looked at her in shock.
"Fine your girlfriend saved you this time but she won't be there for you all the time to protect you" the guy said as he walked away. Jasmine took Crawford out of class and into the hallway.
"Jasmine where are we going?" Crawford asked.
Jasmine ignored him and called her mom.

M-mom J-Jasmine
M-hey sweetheart what's wrong
J- one of my friends got beat up can you pick us up and take us home
M-alright stay there ok I'll be there in a few minutes love you bye
J-bye

She hung up and waited.
Crawford was covered in bruises and cuts.
He was limping so Jasmine put his arm around her shoulder to help him up.
A car parked in front of them and they got in. "Hey oh my god is he ok?" Jasmine's mom said as Jasmine tried to sit Crawford down on the seat.
"yeah he will be once we get him home" Jasmine said.
Her mom drove to the Collins house. "Do you have a key?" Jasmine asked him. He nodded and winced in pain.
"Sweetheart you can stay at his house for a while cause I'm gonna have to go back to work I'll have Brent pick you up after school ok?" Her mom said.
Jasmine nodded and hugged her goodbye. Her mom left as Jasmine helped Crawford walk into his house.
She took him to his room and sat him on his bed.
"Wait here" Jasmine said. She went into the bathroom and found the first aid kit. She ran downstairs and got an ice pack too.
She went back to his room and started treating his cuts.
"Ow!" Crawford said. Jasmine held his hand to calm him down. Surprisingly it did.
"Well the medicine helped your cuts you're just gonna need to hold this ice pack on your bruises" Jasmine said. Crawford nodded as she walked out to put the stuff away.
She came back and sat next to him.
She helped him hold the other ice pack.
She suddenly noticed he was crying.
"Crawf are you ok? Why did that guy beat you up anyways?" Jasmine asked.
"Cause....he says I shouldn't be friends with a girl like you and that nobody likes me or my videos and that I should do everyone a favor and die already" Crawford said.
He threw the ice pack at the wall.
Jasmine looked at him and felt bad.
"Crawf don't listen to him he's just jealous of you, people like you, your fans, your family, your friends" Jasmine said.
I like you but more than a friend Jasmine thought.
She went over and picked up the ice pack. This time she held it in his bruises.
He suddenly put her arm down and looked at her. "Jasmine I..." Crawford said. He started leaning closer and closer.
