Chapter 48

As soon as they got home, their mom helped them take their stuff in and left quickly.
"Don't sleep too late love you" their mom said as she left.
Once the door closed everything was quiet. "I'm gonna go start unpacking" Brent said as he went to his room with his luggage.
Jasmine did the same.
She went to her room and closed the door.
She put her luggage on her bed and unpacked. Once she finished, she decided to take a shower and change.
She put on her black sweater with black joggers and warm socks.
She wasn't planning on going anywhere.
She got her phone and camera and went downstairs into the living room.
She turned on some music and danced around while she got a snack out of the pantry.
She walked back into the living room and looked over at their old piano.
Her dad was the only one who ever played it. He had taught Jasmine and Lexi how to play when they were younger.
Can I still play? Jasmine thought.
She turned off her music and went over to the piano.
She sat down and played with the keys.
After a few minutes she was playing all the old song her dad had taught her. She felt so happy. Her phone suddenly vibrated.
Crawford had texted her.

C-heyyyyy what ya doing
J-playing the piano
C-really? Wow you're talented
J- I try ;)

She heard Brent come down into the living room.
"Hey I'm going to go buy some food with Chris I'll be back" Brent said kissing her forehead and leaving.

J-you should come over
C-sure why not? I'll be there in a few x

Jasmine smiled.
He was so sweet.
She wished Brent would have let her still be with Crawford without hiding their feelings. She played for a little more till she heard the doorbell ring.
She got up and went to open it.
"Hey" Crawford said coming in.
"Hey" Jasmine said back as she closed the door.
"Is Brent gone?" Crawford asked.
"Yeah he went to get food with Chris" Jasmine said going back to sit at the piano.
"I wanna show you something" Jasmine said. She put her camera in front of her and made Crawford sit by her.
"What are you doing?" Crawford asked.
"Just listen" Jasmine said smiling.
She started playing a song as he listened.

Crawford slowly grabbed her hand and turned her to him.
"Was that for me?" He asked smiling. Jasmine laughed and nodded.
He leaned and kissed her.
She loved kissing him, she felt time freeze whenever they kissed.
It was so different than kissing Cameron.
They quickly stopped as they heard someone unlocking the front door.
"Hey I'm home Chris came with me" Brent said.
As soon as he saw Jasmine and Crawford sitting at the piano together he went all serious. "I didn't know you were coming?" Brent asked Crawford.
"Yeah sorry Chris told me to come so I wouldn't be alone at home Jasmine was teaching me how to play the piano to pass time" Crawford lied while smiling.
Brent believed it.
"You can still play?" Brent asked Jasmine. "Yeah it's like I never stopped" Jasmine said making him smile.
"we brought Taco Bell so let's eat" Brent said running into the kitchen with Chris.
Jasmine laughed and got up with Crawford. "That was a close one" he whispered to her as they went to eat with her brother and Chris.
