I need you- a rucas story

Chapter 3:the next morning

Riley's Pov:
I woke up remembering last night and realizing Lucas wasn't there. I wish he still had been. I really wish I could be more with him, but I can't lose him or I don't know what will happen to me. I was feeling lazy this morning so I just put on a really comfy sweater, black leggings, an infinity scarf, slip on shoes, and really quickly pulled my hair into a bun. Before I left my room I swiped on some mascara, covered my dark circles and other things I didn't want people to accidentally see especially Lucas, Maya, Farkle, or my family. So after that I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a banana for the day. I was sitting down eating it when my mom said "Riley, honey are you sure you don't want a pancake or two?"
Umm. I didn't know what to say. I didn't wanna lie to her, but I really want one. But I've really been on a health kick lately, so I can look really pretty. Maybe if I feel good about myself then I won't have any more attacks.
"Um. Mom. I'm good with a banana."
Before she could respond I heard Maya from the intercom saying"Let me up. It's Maya."
I ran to the intercom and let her up.
After she came up we just had our regular talks and then headed for the subway where I would see him.
Lucas' Pov:
I was on the subway when I saw her. My Riley she looked as beautiful as ever, but I kept on remembering last night and I don't think she remembers me seeing her scars.  She was followed by Maya and I guess they picked up Farkle on the way too because he was behind them. Zay was sitting next to me saying something, but I guess I kinda zoned out a little.
Zay: "Lucas did you fall back asleep or something?
Lucas: "Or something."
Riley : "Hey guys" she said without making eye contact with me.
Maya gave her a weird look.
Lucas: "Hi"
Maya: "Oh. No. You two don't start that again."
Lucas and Riley: "We weren't."
Zay: "Haha. They just said the same thing. That's not weird at all. Haha." He said really awkwardly.
Maya made fun of Zay while Farkle sat down by her. With Riley on the other side of me.
Riley's Pov:
I was sitting there next to Lucas everything was normal until something hit me. Last night I wasn't wearing any makeup, so he probably saw them. He saw my scars. Ugh. What if he tells Maya? No. No. That would break her. He wouldn't do that right. Before I could do anything he whispered so only I could hear "I saw." That's when I thought I might have a breakdown, but I couldn't not here at least. Not with Maya here. I couldn't break her more. We got to our stop and I was practically pushing everyone one to go faster. We finally arrived to our first period class, my dad. Ugh. I can't get a break today. I'll just talk to Lucas in the one class I have alone with him, Science.
