Chapter 22:

Riley's POV:
No this can't be happening what was he doing here. What was Jack doing here? I had to think fast he was coming towards me, so I grabbed my phone really fast and dialed Lucas' number.
He didn't answer, so I decided to leave him a voicemail just maybe to scare him off.
"Hey babe. So umm just decided to call and can you just uhh call back as soon as you can. Kinda having a problem right now. So uhh talk to you soon."

I hung up the call and was desperately hoping for Maya to come out or for someone anyone to call me. But of course I had no luck. He was come towards me. I wanted to scream or run away, but I couldn't move my feet for some reason. He was close enough where we could talk with no one hearing us. "Oh. Hey Riley"
Riley: "What are you doing here?"
Jack: "Oh. Nothing. I just needed to see my girl."
Riley: "And whose your girl."
Jack: "Oh. You know."
Riley: "No. I don't."
Jack: "You."
Riley: "Oh. That's funny. Your joking right?"
Jack: "No. Why would you fucking say that?"
Riley: "Well. It's just too crazy to not be a joke."
Jack: "Stop saying that."
He was getting really mad and I could tell he wanted to punch something. Umm maybe me. I was getting scared.

Riley: "Woah. Calm down."
Jack: "Then say your mine or at least agree."
Riley: "I'm sorry not in a million trillion years will that happen. Well actually I'm not sorry."
Jack: "Ugh. Why the fuck do you have to be this way?"
I was about to respond when it happened. He punched me in the eye and it hurt like hell. Next thing I know he says "I'm sorry baby." Then he ran off. Maya came out and saw me sitting holding my eye. I told her everything that just happened and she gave me a hug. We hopped back into Farkle's car and she drove. I was wondering what Lucas was gonna say or do. I was day dreaming when I heard my phone ring. "Hello?"
Lucas: "Hey. Princess what's wrong? I got your voice mail."
Riley: "Umm. Me and Maya are coming back sooner."
Lucas: "Oh. Why?"
Riley: "Umm. I'll tell you when we get back. Are y'all there?"
Lucas: "No. Farkle and I went out for a bit. We'll be back in like 30 minutes."
Riley: "Ok. I have to go. We are pulling into the drive way. Bye."
Lucas: "Bye Riles."

We got out of the car and we each got our stuff. I ran upstairs and put myself down. My eye was killing me. So I went downstairs to grab some ice and wrapped it in a cloth. Zay came in and made a joke of course. "Gosh. What happened did you make Maya mad?"
I laughed a little, but it hurt a little. He could tell and had a worried look on his face.
Riley: "It's fine."
Zay: "Are you sure?
Riley: "Yeah. Or it will be. Hopefully."
I kinda whispered the last part and he gave me a confused look. After that I ran upstairs with my ice. I put it down while I changed. I went into Lucas' room to grab one of his sweatshirts. I wanted something big and comfy. I got this really big blue one that was fuzzy on the inside. I put on grey shorts which you couldn't see, but oh well. I layed down on the bed with the ice on my eye. I had been laying there for like 20 minutes when I heard the door creak open.
Lucas was here at least it sounded like him. He was a little louder walker than the rest of us.
Lucas: "Gosh. Why do you have to steal all my clothes."
Riley: "They're more comfy then mine. So, why shouldn't I?"
Lucas: "Well, you look better in them than me anyway."
Riley: "Not true, but whatever you say."
Lucas: "Wait. Riley, what happened to your eye?"
Riley: "Oh yeah that."
Lucas: "Riley, what happened?"
Riley: "Ok. Just don't go storming off or yell. I need you."
Lucas: "Ok. I promise. Now come here."
I got up and we just hugged for like five minutes. We stopped and went to sit on the bed and we began to talk about what had happened today.
