Riley's Pov:
I woke up with the biggest smile on my face. My long time crush is finally my boyfriend, but we are keeping it from most people except our tight group and our parents. I felt so happy today so I put on a floral dress with a cream colored scarf and tights with little ankle boots. (⬆️) I curled my hair and put a light amount of makeup. I then went out to eat breakfast and this time I actually ate pancakes. Yay! Maya came up and I grabbed her and we sat on the bay window. I had to start somewhere so here it goes "I have something to tell you."
Maya: "What, is something wrong.?"
Riley: "No. Actually something amazing happened last night."
Maya: "What? When? Did ranger Rick do something?"
Riley: "Well he came over you left and we talked and talked and finally decide to give us a go, but we are only telling our parents and our close circle."
Maya: "What? Why? Is this he's idea."
Riley: "no it's mine. You remember last time and all the pressuring. I don't want that again or any drama."
Maya: "yeah, but you do know that if Charlie thinks your single he's gonna go for you and Missy's gonna go for ranger."
Riley: "Yeah, but if we don't have feelings for them we don't have anything to worry about."
Maya: "Yeah okay let's go to school or we'll be late."
Riley: "okay let me just grab my coat. It's really cold today."
Maya: "and you decide to wear a dress."
I just giggled at her remark at me. After I grabbed my coat we left and headed to the subway. There we saw them and they all were smiling really awkwardly at me. I guess Lucas already spilled the to beans to them. Oh well. It wasn't really awkward after that. We all got off and walked really slowly to class until We were stopped by Charlie Gardner. Ugh. I don't wanna deal with him today.
"Hey. Riley. You sure look pretty today."
"Uh. Thanks. I said and then tried to walk past him with the rest of us, but he pulled me back.
Riley: "What are you doing?"
Charlie: "You know. I wanted to talk to my girl."
Riley: "Ugh. I'm not your girl and I'm never gonna be."
Charlie: "You will be you'll see."
And with that I ran to class to take my usual seat. Lucas gave me a weird look and I mouthed at him "I'll tell you later at lunch."
He then smiled at me worriedly.
"Ok" he mouthed back.
Then we got interrupted by my dad. Awkward much. Oh no. I haven't told him yet. I tried to mouth to Lucas, but realized the while class was watching. Uhh. What do I do?
