I need you- a rucas story

Chapter 45:

Lucas' POV:

We were heading off today to go visit my family. I was so excited because I barely get to spend anytime with them plus I'll have my favorite girl with me. She was really nervous she hadn't really spent that much time with my family. When ever she came over we would usually go up to my room or be working on school work. So, she didn't really know my family as much as I did hers. I was really excited to see how she interacted with my family, buy especially my mom. We were taking a flight to Texas because it was too long of drive for us, so we would be flying back here to get my truck. The alarm went off at 5:30 and I was up before Riley for once. I tried to wake her, but she was just mumbling. She was so cute. I love her so much. Okay, I need to stop thinking about how great Riley is and wake her up. I kissed her and she kissed back then pulled away and I heard her whisper "I have a boyfriend." So, I was just standing there hysterically laughing while a half-asleep Riley had just woken up and was looking at me like I was crazy.

R: Why are you laughing?

L: No reason

R: Okay I need to get ready for the air port.

L: We've got forty-five minutes

Riley's POV:

I wanted to look cute, but also wanted to be comfy. I really wanted to make a great first impression on Lucas' family, but especially his mom. I decided to put on leggings, a big comfy sweater,and converses. I quickly pulled my hair up into a top knot. Finished packing and put my stuff in s to-go bag. Lucas and headed down stairs and said good bye to everyone.

The flight when pretty well. When I woke up it was Christmas and I was so happy. I got my phone out to text peaches Merry Christmas! I had all the presents with me. I had one for Lucas, Peaches, Farkle, Zay, and Lucas' family. I had already given my family there's, but Lucas and I decided to wait until we get back to New York to trade gifts with the rest of our friends. Their was thing me and him did want to do while we were away, but we never get time alone.

When we got there. It was pretty late, so Lucas just led me inside and up to his old room where we would be staying while we were visiting his family.  

That time went by pretty fast. I really got to know and love his mom. She loved her present from me. My relationship with Lucas strengthened. We were on our way back and I couldn't wait to see my peaches. We were meeting up with them at Topanga's an hour after we get back. So, we had time to freshen up.
