Hogsmede was way more crowded then I expected. You couldn't walk 15 seconds without getting in someone's way. Can't say that I can be mad at them though, Christmas was just around the corner after all. Draco was annoyed with anyone that stepped in his way or shouldered me out of the way. One time it got to the point where Draco almost dragged a man to the ground because he shoved me harshly to the walls. Thank goodness I stopped Draco from throwing any hexes at the man by saying "he has anger management issues" and then pulling Draco away. Things could have gotten really ugly. I walked on with Draco, and put my hands in my pockets to keep warm. Then felt my pan and smiled. I pulled it out and started playing it for Draco's amusement. When I stopped playing Draco had the cutest little smile on his face.
"You okay, Draco?" I asked, then slipped the little pan into my pocket again.
"I am now. Are you thirsty? I know this great place we can get some hot chocolate if you'd like" Draco announced. I nodded. Hot chocolate was definitely the thing to warm you right up. I followed Draco to a small place named "The Three Broomsticks." Draco and I got a booth and sat down.
"I'll get the drinks, you make sure nobody takes our booth okay?" He replied. I nodded and he went to the bar to order. I looked at my surroundings. This place was dimly lit and very cozy. Almost comfortable. I looked around some more and my gaze fell on a boy, around my age, who was starring right back at me. He nodded at me, and I nodded back. Then he got up from his chair at the bar and started walking towards me. I looked away for a second and looked back. He was a few feet from my booth. I started to panic."Hey there, cutie, can I buy you a butter beer?" He asked. I looked at him scared.
"Je ne parle anglais" I stated. I had just said I don't speak English in French. I'm a genius.
"That's adorable. You speak a foreign language." He said. He looked at my robes. "Ah, your a Hogwarts student, surely you have a translator if you're going there"
"Hey pal, get away from her" yelled Draco. I sighed in relief. Draco set my Cocoa on the table in front of me and I sipped to avoid talking.
"Hey calm down, I'm sure she was enjoying her self" he stated.
"Excusez-moi?" I asked. Draco looked at me confused for a second, then caught on and used it to his advantage.
"Sorry pal, she's already my girlfriend" Draco said.
"Excusez-moi?!" I asked. "Je ne suis pas sa petite amie! Il est pas mon petit ami!"
Draco smirked and brushed my cheek."Is the boy bothering you, my sweet?" Draco asked.
"pas autant que vous êtes" I replied, grinding my teeth. I said not as much as you are. Draco turned to the guy.
"She's very upset, she wants you to leave" Draco announced, putting a hand on his shoulder. The guy scoffed.
"It was worth a shot" he shrugged. And walked away. I shot a glare at Draco once he left.
"She's already my girlfriend, Draco?" I cringed.
"How else was I supposed to get him to leave?" Draco asked, sitting down.
"I don't know, an amnesia spell perhaps" I scoffed. Draco shrugged.
"It was the first thing that popped into my head" he replied, sipping his Cocoa. I shook my head. Then took another sip of my Cocoa. It was actually really good. Better then I expected. Draco pulled out a vial from his robes.
"You gotta try this in your Cocoa, it's really good." Draco announced handing me the small vial. It was clear. I looked at it skeptically. I then gulped. Amortentia isn't clear right? I thought back to it. It didn't say what color it was. I sighed and put two drops into my Cocoa, then handed it back to Draco. If it was Amortentia I didn't want it to last all day. I sipped and closed my eyes. Nothing. But my Cocoa tasted a little mintier. I sighed in relief. Draco gave me mint to put in my Cocoa. I opened my eyes. I knew I should have trusted him. He's a good friend, Not bad looking either. I gulped. Did I just think that? Did I just think that Draco Malfoy is hot? I looked at him. Bloody hell he's definitely hot. I shook my head. Oh no. Did Draco just give me a love potion?
"You like it?" Draco asked. I nodded without thinking. "Here, you can have the rest" Draco announced, handing me the vial. I accepted it and dumped the rest in my Cocoa. No. No. No no no. Don't drink it. Don't drink it. Don't do it Corrine. My mouth started getting dry. I looked down at the Cocoa. Oh god. Corrine your smarter then that. "Hey lets get going, finish your Cocoa so we can get out of here" Draco stated. I mindlessly nodded and brought the drink to my lips and gulped. Oh no. I had just done it. I started seeing Draco totally differently. He was all of a sudden the one person I wanted to be with all the time. I finished my drink and set the mug down. "Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded again. Draco put out his hand for me to grab and I don't know what came over me but I HAD to grab it. And I did. Then we exited the place.
