I quickly ran to the common room and up the stairs to my dorm, and flopped on my bed. I squealed it my pillow. Draco Malfoy just asked me to go with him to Hogsmede. And I'm okay with it. I am filled with so many emotions. Happy, Scared, Disappointed, Discussed, Excited, and slightly Dazed. What the bloody hell is wrong with me? It's Draco Malfoy. News Flash, He hates your friends but likes you, your friends hate him but like you, and both want the best for you, without crossing each other's paths. I'm more confused then anything. I wish I I had friends that liked each other. I love my Gryffindor friends. I'd literally drop dead if anything happened to any one of them. But Draco... He was my first friend ever... And he knows me better then anyone else right now. Especially since he figured out that I was the Pan Player. I told the others but they aren't here to help me. Draco... He stayed... He could have gone, but he stayed. And that has to mean something. I looked to my pan. I really do need a new one. I'll have to ask for a new one for Christmas. I sighed. Bloody Hell. I need to get my life together. I jumped off my bed and walked to the lake. It's freezing outside. I waved my wand and my ear muffs appeared. I pulled them over my head and continued walking. Maybe I'd hit the lake after this. I don't know. I walked. I didn't care where I was going. I just walked. Soon I saw Quidditch players, in the sky. I stopped a moment and watched them. They were so cool.
"Head up!!" Yelled a voice. I looked to the voices direction. A snitch whizzed past my head, nearly hitting it. I gasped. That was way to close.
"Look out!"
"Incoming!"
"Pull up!"
Then I felt a crash. I groaned. It was exactly who you'd expect it to be."You just can't seem to stay away from me, can you Corrine." I looked straight up and found a pair of grey eyes, and blonde hair. Draco was on top of me. I laughed.
"Last I checked, you flew into me, not the other way around, Draco." I commented, pushing him off of me. He got up and extended his hand to help me up. I grabbed it and pulled him down, then got up and readied a snow ball. "That's for flying into me with your broom," I stated as he sat up. I threw the snow ball at him. "And that's for every moment after" I stated. It sloshed all over his face. I laughed. I was tackled to the ground. The cold, soft ground. I shivered. Then I sat up.
"You better come with me, or else" Draco stated, as his arms snaked neck. I shook my head, as my teeth started chattering.
"That sounded like a threat" I giggled.
"Oh believe me, it was" Draco sneered, and pulled me up and grabbed his broom. "get on" He said patting behind him. I shrugged. Then I sat on the broom. "You may want to hold on."
"To what?!" I asked.
Draco smirked at me, and shook his head, and with that he kicked off the ground. I hesitated at first, but as soon as I felt the sensation that I was going to fall, I leached myself to Draco, holding on tightly to his arms and pressing my cheek to his back. Higher and higher we flew. Until we were up above the snow filled clouds. I gasped. We were in the clouds. I loosened my grip and lifted my head. The crisp winds sliced at my face. It was cold but enjoyable. I stretched out one of my arms to touch the clouds, hoping that it would feel like pillows. But to my disappointment, clouds make your hands wet and cold. I shook my hand off and held back on to Draco's arm. I lightly nuzzled his back and sighed. I then rested my chin on his shoulder.
"Do you do this to charm girls often?" I asked. Draco looked to me.
"If I knew this is the treatment I get for charming girls like this, I would" he replied. I smiled.
"So I'm the first to ride on your broom then?" I asked.
"I'd be lying if I said no" Draco replied. I smirked. Then removed my head from his shoulder and hugged him. Honestly I have been through enough crap this month, I just need a friend.
"Thanks Draco. I really needed this. This is so nice. I can't believe I'm actually flying with Draco Malfoy" I laughed. Draco scoffed.
"Am I really that Bad?" Draco asked.
"You could always prove me wrong" I stated. Draco sighed.
"The only way I could do that is if you don't ditch me when we go to Hogsmede" Draco stated. I blushed.
"Relax, I'll be there. I promise" I stated. That would soon be my biggest mistake ever.
