The Game

"Hurry up, I want to get a good seat!" Hermione groaned, as she patted my back. I gulped down my eggs and sucked down my pumpkin juice. Then got up and walked to the Quidditch field with Hermione and Ginny. I was so excited. I really wanted Draco to catch the snitch. I felt my pocket one last time to make sure I had the 10 gallons, just in case I lost. Not that I thought I would, but Ben and I are  wizard and witch of our word. And even this was no acceptation. I parted with Hermione and Ginny, and found a seat in the Slytherin section, next to Blaze Zabini.

"Hey Corrine! You ready?" Blaze asked.

"As I'll ever be" I announced. I looked down and watched as the Hufflepuff team filled out onto the field and the Hufflepuff section went wild. Ben waved to me and I waved back. Then he mouthed to me,

"It's not to late to back down, cousin" I rolled my eyes and mouthed back,

"In your dreams, Cousin."
Ben shrugged and mounted his broom. I shook my head and looked to the other side of the field, and watched as the Slytherin team filled onto the field. The Slytherin stands went bonkers and Blaze even sent fireworks in the shape of a snake into the air. I laughed at Blaze and clapped along with the rest of the Slytherin. But I didn't really start cheering with the rest of the Slytherin until Draco came out on to the field. He smirked, and scanned the stands, no doubt looking for me, and Blaze. I did my best to hide myself, but Blaze grabbed my arm and pointed to me. Draco nodded to him and blew a kiss to me, which made a few Slytherin girls behind me faint, but I know it was directed at me. Then the Slytherin team mounted their brooms and just like that the game was off. I couldn't hear what the announcer was saying because of all the screaming in my ear, but with what faint things I caught I could tell Hufflepuff puff was winning. Ben is the best Hufflepuff  Keeper there is. I watched the Quaffle was passed around, while Crabbe and Goyle hit the bludgers towards Ben.

"Hey watch it, goons! That's my Cousin!" I yelled at Crabbe and Goyle. Blaze put his hand on my shoulder.

"Bean is your Cousin?" Blaze asked. I nodded.

"It's a long story." I explained. Blaze nodded.

"If you say so."

Then I watched as the snitch wizz by and stop short. I stared at it for a moment. Then the snitch took off toward both the seekers. It flew around them to grab their attention, then flew up into the clouds where no one could see them. The stands were sound less... To me at least. Nothing else mattered anymore. If Draco caught the snitch, Slytherin would win. And that's something I'd like to have bragging rights about. Soon the two seekers emerged from the clouds, chasing the snitch. Kinley was in front of Draco, but Draco was close on her tail. The snitch made an immediate dive, and so did Kinley and Draco. The two were neck and neck now. I'll admit, Kinley was incredible. But in the last second, Kinley panicked and pulled up to avoid crashing, which left Draco on his lonesome, to catch the snitch. From there everything seemed to be in slow motion. Draco nabbed the snitch, and pulled up just before impact to the ground, just skimming the toes of his shoes. He held the snitch in his and and the whole Slytherin stand shook with cheers and roars of approval. Blaze and I jumped up immediately and high fived. Draco looked to me, and I gave him my biggest grin I could. Meanwhile every girl in the stands behind me were working their way to the front, to hopefully touch Draco's hand, which pushed me forward, almost over the edge of the stand.

"Sit back, you're gonna push me off!" I hissed at the girls behind me. One of the girls, I think... I couldn't tell if she was a she or a dog in all honesty, decided it would be the best idea ever to push me forward, causing my hand to slip and sent me over the edge. But at the last second, I grabbed the edge of the stand with one hand and held on for dear life. I screamed Bloody murder.
