"Mum, where are my school shoes?" I screamed up the stairs so my mum could clearly hear me. She was in her bedroom probably crying over her recent divorce from her 3rd husband. I would feel empathetic toward her, but she marries such jerks that it's her fault it never works. I live here in this 5 bedroom house in London with my two sisters Amelia (who everyone calls Amy) and Alexandra (Alex). And my name is Ashleigh. As you can tell all our names begin with an 'a' ... my mum thought it was cool.
"They are in the cupboard under the stairs, where you left them!" My mum screamed back at me through her sobs. My life is quite crazy at the moment. I have one real friend at school, Alice. I would jump in front of a train for her! We spend most of our time together, we are like sisters. We are both 15, in year 10 at school. My sister Amy is 13 and Alex is 17. There are times when we are best friends, and others when we could murder each other, I suppose just like most sister relationships. I'd say I do well at school, without sounding too modest. I try my best and it turns out quite well. All my teachers love me except one; Mrs Bole. Ever since my first lesson with her she has despised me, all because she was teaching us about Pythagoras' theory and she got it wrong. Without meaning to be rude, I corrected her mistakes and taught the class the right method. She was so embarrassed that since then she has never liked me or spoken to me unless she has to. I don't have a boyfriend, I have been asked out by a couple of boys but none were suitable. The boy I really like is Louis Horan. He is intelligent, funny, popular and good looking. So basically he's out of my league.
